Initially I saw the son, then the breeder brought all 3 to the house looking a home for them and wanting to home the two parents together because they were so codependent. .....you know what happened next!🙄 My husband said as soon as he saw the 3 of them walking into the house, that not one of them would be walking out again!! Yes, I'm slaughtered carting fans, strollers, wet weather gear....and the grooming....but worth every minute!!!

I have 2 of these silly monsters, and they crack me up when they roll around on each other, with their little mouths open, never really getting ahold of the other because their muzzles are so small - it’s hilarious. Peks are the best dogs, period. So smart, cagey , and funny, too.dramatic little actors, as well. Omg I love these puppies so much !

@@marjoriemorris5849 2 boys can fight, but if they’re both fixed young, there shouldn’t be any problems. 2 boys are the best ! Or, 1 of each gender is pretty great, as well. I love Peks so much !

hello, i have helped raise many pekingese over the years, but i dont know everything. from my experience, two girls can have small disputes but solve it and cooperate well, while two boys can take one fallout and they might have permanent rivalry. especially only consider one boy if you end up with two girls. their family order is much like lions, where females stick together, but, while males can cooperate, they wont like to share (the females, and eventually everything else). there may be exceptions, but count them rare. things can tense up every time a female is in heat, but other things can trigger two lone male pekingese as well because of their more openly jealous nature. pekingese have a childish jealousy in general, but females express it more with an "oh, whatever. i didnt want your attention/toy/food anyway" attitude the girls biggest disputes are either over food or toys, but they will give low growls and assert themselves out of it, rather than use force, and can eventually establish who eats from what bowl and whos toy is whos. for boys, disputes tend to build up and create bad blood that cant be settled. however, if you can keep the boys food separated into areas you dont spend time in (your presence create value to be jealous over), and make them feel as equally treated as possible, there might never be need for disputes males and females generally tolerate each other, but no matter if they are strangers, siblings, or son and mother, they will try to breed. the ability to separate them in the house for extended time is needed. the male might also become too pushy even outside of heat, which can create onesided disputes and annoyance to the female, who may use force to put the male in place, with the message not always coming across to the male. if there is one thing a female pekingese can get tired of putting up with, its a male following them with a snout planted on their hind. so two girls are absolute best and safest choice. you will however also see that girls will be more expensive to buy because of this. it is very hard to sell male puppies with the potential rivalries they can bring @@marjoriemorris5849​

The best dog I've ever owned was a peke. We were inseparable. Despite what people think, despite their odd physical differences, they are all dog! Jake would take extra treats and bury them in the garden. I could always tell because his entire face would be covered in dirt from him trying to push dirt on top of his treasure. When I would see him like that, I'd say..."Uh, you know you don't have a snout, right?" He'd just look at me with his mud covered face and just waddle away without a care in the world. 🤣

@@Nclght I love this ! Jake sounds like Mr. Personality. I have a rowdy male Peke with just one eye and the spirit of a Samurai. He thinks he is so tough, and I love every minute of it. Unfortunately, he was a rescue dog from a breeding kennel, and they did something to him that has him terrified to engage in any kind of play in which his teeth are involved, so games like ‘ keep away ‘ or ‘ tug o war ‘ are not possible. I’ve tried for two years now to break that programming in him, but he will not dare. I have to be really creative with games to keep him occupied & engaged. You should get another Pekingese ! Every one I’ve had was brought here in honor of my original Pekingese, Evie.

I feel your pain Nea, I really do, that's why I got a new Peke puppy. He will never take Gizmo's place but having him around does help alot. I'm sorry to hear that you lost your Gizmo. It's been a year and a half since he passed and not a day goes by that I don't think of him and get teary eyed. He was my best friend.

I use to have a Peke puppy just like one of these. I loved her so much!! She was so much fun! I use to slide her across the kitchen floor and she would scramble back to her feet and run back to me, and we would repeat the process until she got tired. She was so well behaved! I miss her so much!

I had one from 10 weeks that looked just like these little guys. Then at about 4 to 5 months he got the wider flat head and turned into a miniature grown pekingese. It was so cute to see the change in pictures it took. Enjoy your baby. They are wonderful little guys.

I’m getting a Peke next weekend. She’s 4 months old. Gonna name her Mika. (Which apparently means “wise little raccoon” in Native American and “gift from God” in Hebrew. And is also a Japanese name. It’s used in lots of cultures.) I can’t wait to get her!

I just out of the hospital 5 days ago. I had a heart attack and was in the hospital 4 days. Just before my heart attack we had to put out pekingese to sleep, Fancy was 15 years old and had some medical problems and the vet said she was probably in alot of pain. We didnt want her to suffer because we couldn't part with her. She was such a good dog. We tried alot before making this decision. Broke our hearts. My husband passed away 2 years ago so this was very hard decision to make. We would love to find another baby, but they are so expensive and I'm on disability now. Be glad you have these baby's. Previous to Fancy I had another one. Thanks for your pictures.
