People always mention Fizz E as being the problem with Fizz. No, it's his Q. His Q can be dodged with flash or a well timed blink, but since his E is an insurance in case it does, there's very little risk. It's the same thing with Ekko. Ekko is not strong because of his ult, his E is the issue. Point and click, close to undodgeable, and low investment burst damage is the issue. If Fizz Q was a skillshot, he'd be way less frustrating to play against. While his E counters equally uninteractive abilities as his Q like Syndra or Veigar ult, the damage portion is a skill shot making it mostly defensive. Only flashing can help you guarantee it to hit, but I would say that flashing to make abilities hit and extend it like that shouldn't be a thing at all i.e J4 E+Q, Grag E, Sej Q, Kass R, etc. Fair skill shots on champs being completely circumvented from missing because of exploits with Flash where there's no way to even really react shouldn't be in the game. Point and click abilities should be low impact or at least highly telegraphable. Fizz Q and Ekko E are the major balancing issue for both of those champs. It's why Annie was left as a horrible champion for the longest time until her changes, in which she became extremely good after buffs. Not a single part of her kit is interactive, and even though her passive is telegraphable, it's not any worse for it. Coincedentally she's even more uninteractive because of Flash giving her range on an instant stun just like the rest. She still is currently good as support despite her low play rate, and after nerfs. Point and click abilities will never not be good.
