@@XanderFenikkusu two interpretations: 1) the monkey in the stone is sun wukong when he was a baby 2) the cycle is repeated with the destined one trapped in the stone in the future

@@XanderFenikkusu This is the bad ending because 1) The Destined One never regained Wukong's memories and is now trapped in the stone, waiting for another monkey to repeat the cycle, and 2) The crown placed on his head symbolizes servitude to the heavens, in other words, SHACKLED to the authority of heaven which the original monkey king never wanted but instead what he desired was true freedom.

Basically. the Destined One is Wukong's mind aka the 6th relic, but without beating the secret boss, we never gain Wukong's memories. Therefore, we're uncompleted, so when we face against the shell of Wukong, the 5 relics combine with us to reform Wukong again, but without Wukong's memories, we accept the golden headband, become another Stone Monkey, and have to wait for another one to find the relics once again, thus repeating the cycle. However, if we beat Erlang and 4 heavenly Kings, we finally discovered that the intro fight is actually a plan came up by both Wukong and Erlang to get rid of the golden headband. Since Wukong cannot die due to his immortality, Erlang has to split his body into 6 relics, and Wukong fall into a form of stasis, waiting for the chosen one who are worthy enough for him to be reborn in. The 5 relics are given to each boss from each chapter, and Erlang keeps Wukong's memories in his third eye. So, when we beat Erlang, we're given Wukong's memories which proven that our monkey is indeed worthy, and with that, we're now Wukong's true mind, the true 6th relic. Then we go and face off the final boss, beating Wukong's shell and combine with other 5 relics like the regular ending, but this time, with Wukong's memories, we became the true Sun Wukong and reject the headband, finally free from the Celestial and Buddha. There's an animation sequence showing all of the events in Journey to the West, and it ends with Sun Wukong in our body preparing to face against the Celestial once more

she didnt do the secret boss before the final boss, so the 6th relic is still lost. wukongs mind. because of this at the end the circlet/crown is put on his head which is pretty much an enslaving device to control wukong forever.

Your character remembers Journey to the west in reverse leading to Wukong revisiting the cave where he toasted with his brothers before attacking heaven that is now filled with graves. He leaves and it is implied he will once again wage war against heaven in revenge for the systematic killing of all yaoguai.

why does she have 4 focus points and an additional 5th level charge? im in NG+ and i own everything in the main game with all of the staff talents, and i only have 3 focus points with a fourth charge level, how the hell do you get a 5th charge?

only if you equips all of wukong's armor and jingubang, this will ONLY work* when you're in mount huaguo (ch6), you'll see the stance icon will change (can't use the 3 skill stance) Around the end of the video, the second phase of the last battle after the sage drained all the relics, the mc reverts back to the original 3 skill stance *I haven't got to it yet but I saw that you'll be able to carry this stance over to other chapters once you upgraded all relics perks (getting true ending 3 times)
