@@petersusia1 Check the size of your guitar and internal space in the case it fits my 34 inch guitar because the internal space is 36.5 inches. It’s a tight fit 🤤 but it’s good for a headless guitar but may not fit regular guitars.

When my cousin popped open his V700, I was surprised that on both ends he had his sporting pistol and ammunition (Kept it balance during transport.), but at the bulk of the center was his film camera and his DSLR with a multitude of lenses.

Any recommendations on how to keep the lid at 90 degrees as opposed to fully open or closed, without drilling into the case?

I see that some folks are able to fit two rifles in the V700 case. Unfortunately, my Maverick is more than 36.5 in length. I will have to get a Tactical 730.

140F temp rating is worthless for travel. Airport tarmacs in the summer time surpass 160F.

Thank you for pointing out that warranty disclaimer I was pretty excited for this case being a pelican but that was wen I thought it was covered under there lifetime warranty but now I will be looking for its equivalent in a standard pelican with the life time warranty! Sure am glad I watched this review before I picked one up and found out the hard way... 🥃cheers🍻

After you cut one of the two inch foam layers to fit your gun or whatever, you'll have one two-inch foam layer as well as one one-inch foam layer on one side, but only the one one-inch foam layer on the flip cover side. Why? It should be a two inch, sandwiched between two two-inch layers, no?
