Hi Cathy, I know that you like Pilot pens like I do. Did you see that they are raising their prices by quite a bit in October? You may want to buy any that you want before then. I have been buying mine from Japan lately for very good prices. Ebay seller penpen-avenue has the best selection and prices I’ve found.

Hi Peggy! I didn't know that Pilot was going to raise prices again. At the moment I'm pretty content with my collection. In fact I was thinking about selling my Custom Heritage 92 (F) because I seem to be favoring my Vanishing Point (F). But if Pilot is about to get more expensive, I think I'll hang on to it. I wouldn't want to let it go and then change my mind and have to spend even more to replace it. I checked out penpen-avenue on eBay and saved them as a seller. They have a nice selection and good prices. Thanks for the info! 😀

This ink managed to completely clog my platinum preppy (F) feed, I'm impressed the kakuno wrote for you at all.

The nice thing about the Kakuno (or any of these Pilot steel nibbed pens) is that you can pull the nib and feed out and give everything a good scrub if it ever quits writing. 😀

Hi thanks for videos. I bought grance f and i liked it. I wanna buy grance Ef, would you answer that pilot vp or else pilot ef gold nibs is same as lamy ef reverse writing. My reference point is the lamy ef’s reverse writing. Could you appraise lamy ef reverse and pilot VP ef ? I write pushing. Thank you so much. I fall in love fountain pens after watch you 🙏

Can the Shimmer damage the pen?

I don't think so. If you let the ink dry out in the pen it may be more difficult to clean, but I don't think it would cause any damage.
