Pelister (2.601m) - E-MTB

Nacionalni park "Pelister" nalazi se u jugozapadnom dijelu Makedonije, na sjevernoj padini planine Baba i u blizinu grada Bitole. Baba je najjužnija planina s alpskim obilježjima na Balkanu. Planina Baba ima 10-ak vrhova preko 2.000 metara. Najviši vrh planine zove se Pelister, visine je 2.601 metar.
Na Pelisteru se nalazi telekomunikacijski toranj te do njega vodi makadamski put koji kreće stotinjak metara od info centra Nacionalnog parka. Taj makadamski put označen je kao biciklistička staza zbog čega smo se na vrh odlučili popeti električnim biciklima. Put je zatvoren rampom.
Kako je vrijeme na dan za uspon bilo dosta loše u info centru Nacionalnog parka pitali smo da li nam mogu otvoriti rampu i dozvoliti da dio puta prođemo s autom. Rampu su nam otvorili i za to smo trebali platiti 20 eura. Od ulaza na makadamski put do mjesta do kojeg se može doći s autom ima 5,6 kilometara i nalazi se na visini od 1.640 metara. Na tom mjestu postoji proširenje na kojem se može parkirati. Od toga mjesta prema vrhu nastavili smo električnim biciklima. Na većini mjesta put je težak za voziti jer se radi o grubom kamenju od granita. Zadnji dio puta ja sam nastavio pješke do vrha, dok je prijatelj izašao s biciklom na vrh.
Od mjesta gdje smo parkirali auto do vrha ima 8,3 kilometra i oko 970 metara visinske razlike po stazi.
Nisam siguran da li bi taj makadamski put trebao biti označen kao biciklistička staza.
National Park "Pelister" is located in the southwestern part of Macedonia, on the northern slope of Mount Baba and near the city of Bitola. Baba is the southernmost mountain with alpine characteristics in the Balkans. Baba Mountain has about 10 peaks over 2,000 meters. The highest peak of the mountain is called Pelister, its height is 2,601 meters.
There is a telecommunications tower on Pelister, and a gravel road leads to it, which starts about a hundred meters from the National Park info center. That gravel road is marked as a bicycle path, which is why we decided to climb to the top with electric bicycles. The road is closed by a ramp.
As the weather on the day of the ascent was quite bad, we asked in the National Park info center if they could open the ramp for us and allow us to pass part of the way with the car. They opened the ramp for us and we had to pay 20 euros for it. From the entrance to the gravel road to the place that can be reached by car, it is 5.6 kilometers and is located at an altitude of 1,640 meters. There is an extension in that place where you can park. From that place to the summit, we continued with electric bikes. In most places the road is difficult to drive because it is made of rough granite stones. The last part of trail I continued on foot to the top, while my friend went out with a bicycle to the top.
From the place where we parked the car to the summit, there are 8.3 kilometers and about 970 meters of height difference along the trail.
I'm not sure if that gravel road should be designated as a bike path.
