Thank you so much! My issue was the hopper lid switch. I made a jumper with a piece of insulated wire, removed the switch and jumped the leads, turned the stove one, and it started feeding pellets again. I ordered a new switch and am hopeful I will be fully operational again.

Second time watching your video in less than a year for different issues and both times you walked me right through getting it going. I can't thank you enough I know lots of folks don't care for this stove but besides the two times it stopped working which also didn't cost me anything to get going again this stove is great. Thank you again

Thanks for the quality tips and info. My auger stopped turning last night. I vacuumed the auger housing a few weeks ago so I knew it wasn't jammed. Who knew these had a vacuum switch?! Wasn't even very clogged, but it's back working again. Crazy.

Awesome video. Very informative. I had to call pel pro and they walked me through the vacuum line and switch. I ordered a new one but before I replaced it I blew in and pulled out on the nipple for the vacuum switch until I can hear the little piece in there going back and forth. Even though I had a new switch, I've done that twice it's got me by for 2 years. I have a new switch in the box in case that doesn't work next time. I also use a jumper wire on my door switch and made sure the connections are taped up good. It's great that you take the time to help people. If I had found this video it would have saved me time on the phone.

Didn't relise my stove had a hopper lid switch until I came across your video. Sure enough after watching your video and by passing the lid switch auger is turning and the stove is ripping and roaring again. Was even on phone with stove Technician he he said it was probably the control board. Good thing I came across your video. You Sir are a stove master and thank you so much. Liked and subscribed !!!!

We have had the 130B about 2-3 months and the auger quit feeding pellets tonight. I’ve tried blowing on the vacuum hose and putting a pin in the end opposite the switch -no pellets. I took the lid switch apart and put one of the plugs on the vacuum switch (hopefully it’s the right plug) -still no pellets. I’m not very mechanically inclined and have no one to help me and it’s starting to get cold. This stove is my primary heat source.

I cut most of the bottom out of a 5 gal bucket, leaving about a ¾" lip remaining. Next i cut the bucket in ½ verticaly (keeping the handle side) forming a basic trough. Then i formed a piece of ¼" mesh hardware cloth loosely to the inside of the trough bending it over the ¾ lip i left on the bottom perimeter, stapling it to the inside ½ of the almost bottomless bucket. Now Lay this screen contraption right in your hopper and dump your pellets on top of it. Simply lift up on the screen, tilting forward and LIGHTLY shake it as you pull it up and out of the pellet pile. The pellets are too big to fall through screen so they spill forth into the hopper. The dust on the other hand falls through the screen and piles up above the ¾ " lip. Now you've got a bucket/screen with a strong handfull of sawdust out of every bag. No Brainer

The Pelpro's can be really temperamental when it comes to the air pressure. Yesterday mine kept starting, feeding fine and then shutting down. My house was freezing! I finally got a break and was able to take off the slide panel - I did the hose thing, still shut down. I remembered last year it did this and it ended up needing to be cleaned! I took it all apart and used the shop vac -with a hose going out the window for any extra soot that the filter didn't catch. Most ash vacs will not work for this -they aren't strong enough - you need a POWER shop vac. You will need to remove all three panels. Behind the panel on the left is a rectangular hole - vacuum that all out - vacuum everything behind the panels that you remove. Vaccuum up in the top etc. I started it up and it's been running like a champ ever since. Low quality pellets, which I had been using, or pine pellets will create a LOT more ash than high quality ones. The Tractor Supply and Agway ones are crap. Next year I will be ordering pellets from a place I got several bags this year. I didn't have this issue until I started using the Tractor Supply ones! If none of these things work, do a deep cleaning and see if that helps with shut downs!

What about where the pellets get dropped down by the black metal piece that looks like a cork screw? That’s where my clog is. I took the 6 screws out and the face plate that covers the top part of cork screw part that spins the pellets up to be dropped down, that plate is either glued down or has some type of strong gasket…what do I do now?

ALSO If you don't cut all the way across your pellet bag. Leave 3 or 4" of the bag corner intact. This pocket easily catches ½ of the sawdust in the bag. The bucket/strainer catches the other ½. Dump these spoils into another bucket every day. Bout once a month i'll blow my shop vac exaust through this. Dust blows away, pellets stay

I'm having major issues with the auger jamming after a few days of operation. And I use premium pellets, not my first rodeo but new to this stove. I've made a shield to block the very bottom of the hopper near the auger ,I hope it helps limit the amount of dust that it picks up. I think the vibrations of the motor(s) makes any dust settle to the bottom of the hopper and jams it faster. If anyone has another idea I'm game because this is annoying.

Great video and thank you for putting it together, but "it's simple" then proceeds to show all the parts required in the feed system (overly complicated for pushing pellets). -lol-... Honestly though, I would start with the most basic first. I was hoping to find how to "prime it again"(when you run the stove empty, empty) because if the pellets don't reach the burn pot it may seem like its not feeding. We just got our pellet pro last year and it heated our house on the lower settings(huge improvement from the napoleon we had for 8+ years), when are you finding that these additional steps are needed? 2 years in?? 3?

Unfortunately, none of this has worked for me. I have bought many replacement parts including vacuum switch, auger, and motor. The new auger has just refused to spin. Only, once in the past two months in my quest to fix my pp130B has it rotated and dropped pellets. And after one drop it stopped. Maybe I have to buy new bushing, but I'm at a loss and haven't found any information in the forums to figure out what is causing the malfunction.

My pp130b works amazing as long as it keeps running. But once it reaches the room temp and shuts down it stops working and blinks one red for hopper jam. I either have to unplug it or wait a while and turn it to off and back on and it works perfect again until next time it shuts down for reaching room temp that is set and does it again. Starting to have my doubts about my purchase a month ago
