Very cool pen. I quite like that barrel and cap are metal, instead of resin. All the Big Three of Japan i.e. Sailor, Platinum and Pilot have put out many different pocket pens, with both steel and gold nibs (14k/18k). They are just great. Very similar in outward appearance and design aesthetic. Even the nibs are mostly the inlaid type. But they give you a different writing feel and experience distinct to each brand. If pressed to choose only one, I’d likely choose the Platinum pocket pens with the 18k nibs. But I own pocket pens from all three brands. Anderson Pens (sadly, winding down their business this month), always offered many of these pocket pens. I bought all the six (two each of the three brands) that I own from AP.

Incidentally I bought a Sailor pocket pen, a Platinum pocket pen (both used and claimed to be Vintage) and a Pro-Gear Slim Mini from Singapore recently.
