I gotta talk one on one with you sometime, Because my vision of what a furry is was corrupted by the internet as being completely horrible and cancerous. But I don't think it's all that bad anymore, the only thing that catches me as awkward is the fact that the fursuits are worn during daily life and not just conventions and stuff. It just seems unsanitary to me to do that and may result in breathing problems in the future. But keep doing what you're doing, as a human you are given the right to believe in whatever you want as long as it doesn't physically harm anybody else. Atleast, that's my opinion on life.
