Penang got nice panoramic beaches. Kelantan and terengganu got nice beaches, islands with white sand that you can swim. Sabah got both 😄

Thank you for this video. Malaysia seems to be a value destination to consider. I do recall my classmate in high school who travels and he told me Malaysia was not cheap but he considered Saudi Arabia cheap. I’m sure there are other countries that are cheaper than Malaysia but the quality you get is justifiable and seems to be a good deal in Malaysia if I’m not mistaken.

Good question Ive been to Thailand 6 times and Malaysia only a couple weeks So not a good comparison

I have visited thailand once for 8 days and malaysia twice for 7 and 3 days. I suggest Thailand. However I felt more comfortable travelling malaysia because of food but I know that for many food is not a constraint.

Depends on your objective or mood. Eg if you like drinking, partying, smoking weed, seedy clubs Thailand is the one. If you are those who hates crowded beaches, love family environment, unpolluted cities, animals(biodiversity), forest(oldest tropical rainforest), hiking mountains(mount Kinabalu), caving(mulu caves), diving in world class areas(Sipadan, mabul, layang layang), multiculturalism, cheap public transport. Malaysia is for you. Only Malaysia and Singapore are multi cultural in south East Asia

If you are young and like to party/ go to the pub, you can consider Thailand. If you travel with kids or family, then you can consider Malaysia. Both countries have beautiful beaches and nice people. Food wise, I like the cuisine of both countries. Hope this will help you.
