The best advice ever- just take a risk and get out. My grandma always used to say- the best education is travel and its so true. Take a risk. Explore. Look at all the amazing things you have seen and shared with us by going off the beaten track and seeing places your way. I love it. Thankyou for sharing. I’ll be there in August travelling alone from Perth Western Australia. I backpacked there in 1978 and 1985 but only briefly. In October of last year I was in Georgetown for a few hours only from a cruise ship. Can’t wait to return!! I’ll have three days in Georgetown and two in Batu Ferringhi…I want to return to the places I saw back then. I’m staying in a small hotel overlooking the clan jetties, and then on batu ferringhi beach. It’s only 14 weeks away and your video gave me a few more ideas to add to my ever growing list! I’ll probably need to return next year!! 😍😍 Enjoy the rest of your travels…Raelene

Just beautiful. You are correct some of the best things that happen on a trip or totally unplanned. That boat ride in beach were I think the best part of the trip. I noticed your necklace. It’s quite pretty. Is it a souvenir of your trip stay safe and thanks for taking me along.

Enjoyyour videos, calling at a lot of these points in Jan on a 30 day cruise. I would find it really useful if you quoted your rough costs I.e taxi fair for four hours, cost of boat tour etc. thanks 😁

We booked the private driver at the port and was inexpensive. Was something like $30-40 not sure. Wan’t enough to remember. The boat tour was extra when we arrived and negotiated that price. It was not much either. It was not expensive and well worth the trip.
