I made myself a stereo headphone amp with the lm386. I was able to get a really strong and clean sound. There was no loss in bass either. I advise.

@@morenarayan2644 I will have one last piece of advice. I powered the amplifier I made with a 3.7v 1000mah li-ion battery and it is insufficient for loud sounds and there is distortion in the sound. My advice to you is to power it with a 9v battery. It can also be powered with 12v, it is a circuit with a wide voltage input option. Good luck.
