I use the pendulum to help with anxiety... I usually always wear a necklace with a crystal and when I start freaking out about whatever I take off the necklace and use it as a pendulum to reassure me that everything is actually ok and there's no real reason to panic

I'm not sure if it's accepted as fact yet (I think it might be) but there's significant research to suggest that pendulums move due to the ideomotor phenomenon, which is the micromovements caused by your subconscious. I tend to believe that the answers come through the mind either via the collective unconscious (with relation to the akashic records, although I don't work much with them specifically) or via spirits from the other realm passing them on to you. Great video, reminded me that I haven't used my pendulum for ages, and not regularly for years, I've been too preoccupied with tarot. Definitely need to pick it up again if only to tell me which coat to wear bc only the spirits know what English weather is going to do lmao.

I tend to believe the ideomotor phenomenom because I like a scientific explanation to my magic (beeest of boooth woooorld). I think that our soul, spirit or subconscious is connected to the universe and our spirit guides (and our ancestors, everything), so it would make sense that they send their message via our subconscious with the micromovements. The power is within ourselves, not outside.

i myself believe that whatever we wish to be controlling the movements IS controlling the movements. if you are directly asking to connect to your higher-self for example, i think the movements will come from your subconscious. but i also think they can be used to communicate with guides, and as a form of necromancy to communicate with spirits that are either earthbound or spirits that have crossed over. and i think its almost like that spirit combining their energy with ours, using our energy with their own, to create movements! im a medium as well and often use my pendulums when channeling spirits that have crossed over. i always ask questions as well that i do not know the answer to. another fun thing is some spirits have given me a movement for when they find something funny or want to laugh, like if they are joking around!! which is enough confirmation for me to know that our beliefs are what manifest into reality for ourselves :) x

I actually just bought this book this summer and I made like a witchcraft/wicca class for myself with various books and podcasts and videos. One of my favorite parts of doing this was taking the book and relating the titles of the chapters to specific videos from the channel. So today was chapter 2 and the divination videos. One thing Harmony didn’t mention but was brought to my attention when I was first learning how to connect with my pendulum, is don’t mess with the pendulum by asking trick questions. It won’t give you a good answer and you’ll have to work a lot harder for it to really connect with you. Just like all forms of divination, have respect for the craft and the forces that be.

I'm so happy you made this video! I have a lapis lazuli pendulum I absolutely love but I haven't gotten around to learning how to use it properly. I saw the pendulum in a metaphysical store and fell in love (it's one of my favorite stones). I like to wear it as an earring (I put a French hook on the chain and let it dangle from my ear) especially when I need confidence and courage to being myself.

I remember watching Enchanted Endeavors when I was first getting into witchcraft and figuring out what exactly I wanted to do. You really helped me through that journey and I'm 100% buying your book to use as research material/guide and to add to my collection. I've actually taken a break from witchcraft for a while and just recently got back into it (now that I have the time). You were also a big inspiration when it came to what I wanted to do on KZbin. Anyways, this was way longer than it needed to be. I'm excited for the next Enchanted Endeavors episode. Keep up the amazing work

I love your enchanted endeavors videos, they've really helped me out with figuring out my craft and helping my (very religious) mom understand witchcraft better. I was actually wondering if you could do a video listing all the different methods of divination with a brief explanation on which methods are better for which situations? Divination is one of the few powers I know for certain that I have and I'm trying to figure out which method will work best for me because right now I'm just meditating until I fall asleep and then deciphering my dreams, which most of the time is incredibly easy but I'd rather not need to take a nap every time I want a little guidance.

I'm honestly surprised but this actually worked for me instantly. I have something on my desk that is like a pendulum but it's been here and I look at it everyday for the past year. I used it and first asked it to show me yes and no. After I saw two different movements I asked it a question I knew the answer to "is it wet outside" and "is it try outside" because it had just rained. It worked so I asked it a few more questions I knew the answers to and it's accurate! Thanks Harmony!
