When I heard the French oak staves I immediately thought of the Maker’s Limited Releases. Those are also in that $60-80 range and a little higher proof. Good comparison or no?

With Architect being four grain I think that is a good comparison on paper however this tastes nothing like MM. The oak on this stands out where I believe Makers is softer in the oak notes. - Greeze

To answer your question about a barrel pick of Architect...they're being somewhat reserved as of now, but my store was lucky enough to get one after a trip to visit them!

I have one and I hate it it’s now a mixer, idk but I can’t stand this bottle and will not be buying it again. The only 2 people to like it are the 2 whiskey KZbinrs who are friends with Penelope owner. I bought it of y’all’s recommendation and bourbon junkies recommendation and it’s truly a horrible whiskey.
