I think that the lighter you built is better than most store-bought lighters. I have never seen an ultrasonic lighter though. I have several piezo-electric mist makers that I don't know what to do with, and now I think I do. I'll probably use a standard lighter coil generator though for the spark. Absolutely amazing

This is probably not perfect for long times since the petrol evoporates rapidly. It is not suitable for travel also since peteol inside could spill

Guess this gadget is very effective in destroying your health. 1. The chemicals in a battery are harmfull. 2. To inhale gas vapor is toxic carcinogenic 3. If the gas cloud becomes to big before ignition this might result in a significant exposion. 4. The tank isn't tight. you might spill gas, even if you don't use it... which is again toxic and carcinogenic and a fire hazard. Same holds true for the valve, which isn't designed to have constant contact with gas.

I was put of by the word "free" in the video topic. However while watching I quickly realized that this build is very nicely executed; awesome idea aswell! However the word "free" has no relation to the video.. This is a mini-ultrasonic-petrol-mist flame-torch; and a really awesome and creative one aswell!

@@heimdall4148 yup its like me saying create free bread from flour you cant make the bread without the flour and flour costs money i think what he meant was SAVE money on Gas with Petrol which makes more sense because a can of butane costs like £6 a can of zippo fuel costs about the same but a liter of petrol/gasoline costs £1.30 so youd be paying like £0.20 for a zippo sized container of petrol which would indeed save you money although i do have concerns about using petrol which is a little more volatile than zippo fuel
