If you remember playing NHL 08 through NHL 14 from EA Sports, and saw an embarrassment like what happened on Monday, Gary Thorne would say "This game is being decided on bad goaltending". Well it was not just bad goaltending, it was the Penguins offense and defense that was a thousand times as bad as the goaltending. It was kind of reminiscent of that classic Looney Tunes cartoon entitled 'Baseball Bugs', where Bugs Bunny was throwing pitches and the team he faced was hitting nothing but home runs in a conga line. That best describes how bad a game like this one was and I'm sorry you and all the other Penguins fans had to witness such a shameful performance. Imagine if this game was parodied on SNL, I'm sure they would knock it out of the park with a sketch like that, no pun intended of course.
