As a daycare teacher, this is terrible for so many reasons. But to make it worse, these kids were eating lunch with their cots out meaning the teachers were supposed to put them to nap right after this. I bet they turned the lights off and let the kids have insomnia or nightmares. This is disgusting and makes me want to cry.

When I was young, my mum would often turn off the lights, lift up my blanket, and tickle my feet while making a "funny" noise. I hated being tickled, plus i couldn't shield my feet from her with the blanket because she would yank it off anyway. She was having fun and thought I was, because obviously when you laugh from being tickled you're having fun. Throughout my childhood, when other kids feared ghosts and demons when the lights were out, my fear was about having my feet tickled. Two decades later, I would never let anyone touch my feet, and cannot sleep with my feet exposed. I also cannot sleep without my chin shielding my neck but that's another story.

Making a child think they are in danger because they don't understand the concept of it being scary for fun, is just straight up evil. Hearing them all cry, obviously terrified, is heartbreaking. I am 32. My older sisters did things like this to me when I was extremely young (my parents weren't around a lot, mom passed young, dad rarely around due to multiple jobs) and the effects are still extremely evident today. The jokes about how scared I was continued in perpetuity. Some of the repercussions: No horror movies, always sleep with a light source and a distraction, still have vivid nightmares about it. Seeing people do this stuff makes me profusely angry.

It makes me so angry that so many people, even those involved with child care, dont understand how fragile a child's mind can be. I had this same talk with a girl on social media about a (separate) case where some sisters made their very young little brother cry for months because they made him believe that he had married a doll and therefore had lots of obligations etc. According to her, this kind of "fun" is totally fine because kids are "tough" and wont remember it after a few years. The kid cried and was upset for months mind you, to the point of not wanting to go to school because he had a childhood crush on a classmate or something, it wasnt just some afternoon prank. He actually seemed depressed. I can just imagine what kind of issues this poor kid may have when it comes to intimacy, romance and marriage when he grows up. This girl apparently worked with children routinely, as well, and she saw no issue with it. I guess the "girls' fun" matters more to some people.

There were multiple videos and the kids were in pure terror. Some of the kids ran to another room and hid and the worker CHASED them in there and screamed at them again. The workers were LAUGHING. All of the employees should be fired for letting something like that happen. Some of the kids were eating and had food in their mouths when they were screaming which is a choking hazard especially in children that young. The fact that they saw how traumatized these kids were and KEPT GOING and VIDEOED and LAUGHED gives me chills.

As a daycare worker who works with young childen, this disturbs me. A kid cried today cause his mittens we're a little wet, and one cried for a solid half hour cause I couldnt hug her cause I was helping out other kids. The worst thing about this is how old the kids seem to be, younger kids have alot of brain plasticity and are very easy to engrane something into them at this age. So this event will likely traumatize these kids for life.

Society needs to wake up and stop enabling women like this to exist without putting them in jail cells like we do to men who behave in such ways. Society is treating women as if they deserve unlimited get out of jail free cards because they're female and therefore 'don't know any better' or are 'harmless and didn't mean any harm'. I never really understood just how pure kids were until I became an aunt. I don’t have kids myself, so I never truly understood their brains and what that development looked like. But, after watching my amazing niece grow- I’ve learned so much and this truly hurt to see… I can’t imagine ever trying to scare her like this and watching her cry in fear. This is horrific… kids are only able to receive what you give them-- they’re not just born with anxiety or fears. My niece (2 yrs old) is so amazing, she’s really not afraid of anything and already has an awesome understanding that feeling afraid is okay and she doesn’t need to feel unsafe if she sees a spooky thing in a movie, etc. This lady obviously doesn’t understand the negative impact she made on those kids when she did this… those kids just learned that they can’t always trust the people that are closest to them to keep them safe. While those kids may not recognize the emotions and overall what’s going on - they will probably have anxiety after this Thanks for always bringing up topics that need to be discussed! Fun fact: all babies actually do have anxiety (stranger anxiety) naturally occurring at around 5 months old. And fear is an emotional response they develop at 6-18 months of age, but can develop as soon as 3 months if they’re being abused. Just some developmental facts, because fear is an innate emotion that we could not survive infancy without.

This reminds me of the time a dude walked around our elementary school (around the area where 6-8yo play) with a scream mask, and a hatchet. He was usually out in the forrest, mostly just looking creepily at the terrified kids (me included). Our teachers of course didnt believe us, but when he literally stood right outside the window of one class, and a teacher saw him, then finally they understood something was going on. Pretty sure the police were involved, and the guy got arrested some days/weeks later. But I don't remember all the details as this was around 12 years ago and I was just a kid. I only remember that the forrest was blocked off, kids always had to walk with someone on the way home, and the dares we had to go into the forrest to show how brave we were (this was after the guy had been caught). Scary situation, really.

My mom has tons of experience with Mistreating Daycares. (This is years ago, I was like 3). She put my toddler brother in a daycare, he had his clothes go missing once, and he wouldn’t have his diaper changed all day. (She knew because she got suspicious due to him having rashes, and numbered the diapers with sharpie) My older brother who has high functioning autism disappeared at daycare and they didn’t call her for over an hour after he’d gone missing, and one of the staff said they watched him walk out the door (he was like 5) and on another occasion, they hosted this “Day camp” sort of thing, my mom asked if I could go (I was like 3) they agreed. THEY DIDN’T FEED ME! They apparently bought snacks, but they didn’t get enough for everyone?? (HOW you literally have to register to a day camp, they knew the exact amount of kids coming, why wouldn’t they make sure they had enough???) my mom asked before hand if it was ok to send us with containers of food, they said it was, at lunch they refused to open it for us. They left me alone in the care of my autistic brother. We didn’t eat all day, and we were so young we didn’t know how to open containers or rappers. My mom said she was horrified, our rapped granola bars had bite marks in them from us trying to eat. This all happened at separate daycares but they were all from the same company line. She was PISSED and yelled at the workers saying they abuse kids, and their lucky she isn’t pressing charges (she wishes she did today)

This daycare also told my mom to call half an hour before she showed up, (which my mom and her boyfriend found very strange) and literally stole my baby brothers clothes. They were also provided money from charity organizations to employ a special needs aid for kids who need it (like my older brother) they didn’t employ one, they just hired another random staff (with obviously no experience with special needs kids) who my older brother said he didn’t like and would hide from.

When I think back on it today, I feel so bad, but I truly admire how calm and patient that guy was while I was latched onto his harm. That same day, on the way home my father met a business colleague on the train. I remember him picking me up the exact same way and saying "who's this guy" and I bit him on the arm (still rattled). Now... this second guy screamed A LOT more, and I learned that biting was wrong. I can confidently say, if someone chased me as a kid with a mask like that, they were going to get bitten.

2:30 I love how the girls cry but cant look away and the boy goes into the fetal position. Not to take pleasure in their pain or anything.

good news: not just her, but FOUR employees have been fired because of this, and there’s currently a police investigation into the daycare to see if any charges could be filed.

I remember I was about 5 out trick-or-treating with my mum. We knock on this one door and it opened. The hallway was incredibly dark and seemed no-one was there when a man came running and screaming. Worst part was the scream mask he was wearing. That still gives me nightmares today and I like to think I'm pretty sturdy when it comes to the ole horror genre.

Not only is it horrible and fucking crazy for them to do this, but the fact that they allowed themselves to be filmed/may have decided to film is even worse
