Sebastian, great review about Penhaligon's Terrible Teddy. This sounds like a super masculine and powerful fragrance with spices, smoky incense, leather, cedarwood, ambroxan, and musk to name a few. I love the notes of incense, leather, cedar, and ambroxan so I think Terrible Teddy would really appeal to me. I have yet to try anything from the Penhaligon's line although I have heard positive reviews about many of their fragrances. The most masculine fragrance I own is Bentley for Men Absolute. Hi Sebastian! My most masculine fragrance is admittedly unisex - Maison Margiela by the Fireplace- I think the smokiness makes it more masculine than any of my other fragrances. I would love to win Terrible Teddy because the spices and the leather sound delicious to me, also I love woody scents, especially ones with ambroxan at the base! The most masculine fragrance I own is Coco Chanel Mademoiselle. I do not own any Penhaligons, I am both excited and curious to try Penhaligon's Terrible Teddy as the incense intrigues me and am learning more, and want to experience more ambroxen. I love every single thing you said about Terrible Teddy, right up my ally. My most masculine fragrance is John Varvatos Artisan Acqua. When my young nephew smelled it he said it smelled like Harrison Ford, lol. I had to agree, he hit the nail on the head. I don't have fragrances from the TT range. Im from the U.S. Most of my fragrances are not very masculine. They tend to be unisex but leaning toward the masculine side. I would say Black Phantom by Kilian is at the top for me in that category. Ive never smelled Terrible Teddy but am very interested in doing so. I love the look of the bottle and the review/description made it seem very appealing.

This is a fantastic review. I have a small sample of Terrible Teddy and it is divine. It’s like being on a luxury safari trip. I am actually travelling to San Francisco this May and would love this fragrance to be a reminder of your amazing city. My most masculine scent has to be Sartorial. I live in London and it really incapsulates the elegance and refinery of Saville Row. My favourite Penhaligon’s fragrance overall is Belgravia Chypre. I’m distraught they are discontinuing it. I agree with you Sebastian, I’ve sampled Terrible Teddy I was also wondering where that sweetness/brightness comes from in the fragrance, I regularly visit a nearby Penhaligons boutique here in the U.K. I love Penhaligons it’s a great house, been looking to get a lot of the Portraits collection but so far only have one, The Ruthless Countess Dorothea, I find the Portraits collection to mostly be unisex you could wear any of the line and enjoy it, I think my favourite from the line is between The Bewitching Yasmine and Monsieur Bereugeurd. In the regular line up of fragrances I would have to say my favourite is Kensington Amber My most masculine fragrance I would say is Bottega Veneta Pour Homme Parfum

Hello Sebastian. I had the chance to buy Terrible Teddy at Paris Charles de Gaulles Airport for 185€ and this fragrance is a real pleasure. The pepper makes it gorgeous for me and for sure this fragrance is more for men. I had many compliments with this one!! In terms of fragrance very "masculin", I strongly recommend everyone "Genua" from Paglieri 1876. This is what a men should smell. Thanks a lot for this review Sebastian. Matthieu from Switzerland.

I bought Halfeti because of your review. I do love it but I also want Savoy Steam for the warmer days. I have often used (borrowed) Geo. F. Trumper's Eau de Quinine in the summer and it seems very masculine to me as all fougeres do. Otherwise, I tend not to see fragrance as masculine or feminine. Terrible Teddy sounds wonderful as I adore incense, leather, and spice. It would be really nice in a Canadian winter.

Great video as always, my most masculine fragrances are Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, Lalique Encre noire and Giorgio Armani Eau pour Home vintage edition, Terrible Teddy sound like kind of fragrance, I like dark dusty incense, green metalic incense and also the church incense, but when it is mixed with leather it should be a hit. What another wonderful review Sebastian! This was great! I love Penhaligons and own several of their masterpieces! It is hard to pick a favorite but I really love The Tragedy of Lord George, Elixir, Sartorial, and Endymion! I have not had the chance to try Terrible Teddy but he has been on my list for a while now! Definitely one I want to try! The most masculine fragrance I own would have to be a couple different ones... Bentley for Men Intense, Bentley Absolute, Gucci Guilty Absolute, and Amouage Interlude for Men. That was tough though, because scent is scent to me, so I wear whatever I feel like, doesn't matter if it is for women or men. Thank you Sebastian for another great review... it was great, as always. The most masculine fragrance I have is Polo Green and it's a O.G. vintage bottle. For me it's the most masculine fragrance I have and have ever smelled. My dad and uncle used to wear it and it makes me think of them. And they are two of the most masculine men I have ever known. I haven't tried anything from Penhaligon but their bottles are all so beautiful and I'd love to have one in my collection. This particular fragrance intrigues me because I need another ultra masculine fragrance in my collection. Hey sebastian. Well i am familiar with penhaligon's house, but not familiar with the portraits collection because i can't afford it. I have bayolea and im glad i bought Blenheim bouquet after i saw your review on it. I like bayolea because im into green barbershop fragrances. There is alot of masculine fragrances out there, but i like chanel antaeus in cold days, and hermes equipage geranium in warmer days. I guess terrible teddy should be a great scent, from what i heard from you. I like incense leathery dirty masculine scents and it fits me well especially in cold winter here where i live in lebanon. My most masculine fragrance IMO is YSL EDP. Fairly new to frag game and your description def head me interested in this fragrance (love Ambroxyn BTW. Coming to you from the SF Bay Area, US... Keep up the good work. Really enjoy the videos.

Hey Sebastian! Love from India. One of my all-time favourite masculines is Gucci Pour Home (2003) which is famous for its dusty, woody 'pencil-shavings' accord with an underlying sweetness that's present all the way through to the dry-down. The reason I feel like I might enjoy 'Terrible Teddy' is because your description of it matches the experience I get from the Gucci. I understand that the notes and the actual smell might be vastly different but it's the dusty-woody-sweet character that I'm excited about. Hope you have a great day. Cheers!

Most masculine fragrance: Penhaligon's Opus 1870 Favorite Penhaligon's Fragrance: This is a hard choice for me, its between Halfeti and "The Blazing Mr Sam. Halfeti is my first introductory scent to the Penhaligons collection and it just enhances my mood overall. The blazing Mr. Sam is my new discovery from the NY store and the freshness of this scent warms me up and clears my mind its also has a cool bottle top. I did get to sample Terrible Teddy on my last trip to the NY store and was very well impressed by this unique masculine scent. However I couldn't afford it at the time of visit. I will love to add this to my collection of fragrances from the house of Penhaligons. Location: USA- New Jersey

For me the most masculin scents are the leathery ones - TF Tuscan Leather, PDM Godolphin etc. Terrible Teddy is sounds exciting because of the dustiness. It's hard to get dust instead of powder, so really intrigued in givining this a smell next time i'm the the shop. Thanks for the excellent video as always, salute from Latvia!

Love this house, and would have so many more in my collection were it not for their poor longevity. Lord George and Roaring Radcliffe are still 2 of the best fragrances I've ever smelt. The performance just cant justify the price for me.
