Looked like a really nice parkrun there. I always like the ones where you can see all the other parkrunners too so you get a proper feel for the event. Great stuff, thanks for sharing 👍

Thanks Dawn and John. Great video of what looks a good ParkRun. Not done Penistone ParkRun before but have run down the section many times whilst doing running events. I have an event there this Saturday so am considering paying the ParkRun a visit and having a gentle jog. Thanks again. Ps. Wow. Incredible ParkRun stats for you both - very impressive.

Sadly Penistone is cancelled today. I hope your marsthon is still on. Does it go down or up the TPT this time?

@@tworunningbrooms Sadly, the marathon has been cancelled along with the ParkRun. Day 2 tomorrow is still on but I imagine that will be cancelled also. It’s disappointing but we can’t control the weather.

I had relatives that lived in Penistone but I think the last time I visited that way was probably when I was about 10. No parkruns back then but I’m sure if I was given the opportunity I’d have jumped at the chance. I don’t really remember much about the area other than it had lovely open views which was different to my own town. Liked the Ben Parkes caps 🧢🧢 I have a ‘in it for the long run’ tshirt and a ‘rest day’ sweatshirt from their shop and love wearing them 😊

Yes, lots of open views and a lovely market town. The Ben Parkes cap was supposed to make it's debut in our training series but parkrun came first. Dawn's is new this week. 😁

Great video. We saw you filming, my youngest son was filming our park run too. He wanted the GoPro head mounted. I think I saw you at the Thurlstone Chase later on too. I ran that as well.

Yes the Thurlstone Chase comes out tomorrow. I said to Dawn there was a boy running with a Go Pro strapped to his head. Are you doing a Penistone Vlog?
