I’ve recovered a set of 50W and 20s this video assisted me on learning the right technique saved me some $ for folks in low budget if you are salvaging you may need to add a few drops of oil on the screws and let it sit for a few hours as mine were so out of shape but once I got In There I was able to grease em up final product like new! Thanks again for your time and step by step guidance even the clear sound of the video..!

What kind of drill is that? Amazing.

It was just some cheap cordless drill I picked up at walmart. You really shouldn't use a drill on your reel unless you're absolutely certain the screws aren't seized. I had taken this reel apart ten minutes before this video.

my spool want release to drop down my bait everything works fine you have any idea what might be the problem
@reelclean6 жыл бұрын
Jerry, It sounds like one of possibly two problems. First, your drag setting may be too high at the freespool selection, or a failure of the drag cam/cam follower assembly inside the side plate. Take a video and tag me in it and I'll check it out!

How do you remove the handle from the Penn international V 2 speed 30 reel?
@reelclean6 жыл бұрын
Firestorm, Unfortunately, this is not as simple as I think it should be. You must use the special wrench that was provided with you international V reel to hold the notched plate below the gear shifter in place while you turn the shifter knob counter-clockwise (as if you're switching back into high gear). The knob will unscrew and then you must remove two small screws from a plastic plate which acts as a lock plate for what's called the shifter plunger. Then you can remove a washer and viola!
