Glad to see you hold the rods with your right and left wind. Exactly how it is supposed to be, all the early fixed spools were left hand wind, for right-handed people. Someone along the way left handed buggers, who want to hold the rod with their left arm managed to change things :(

How do you find the casting with the heavy model not sure if its to heavy for my gummy shark beach fishing?

Hi Nigel, if using braid the cast is no issue. If using mono you will get anywhere from 80-100+ meter cast also depending on line weight. So if you dont need to cast far, you will have no issues.

Hey Lenny, This is the 1202H which is the 37KG rated rod. I own 2 of them for my land based kingfish. Im a big fan! Caught over 20 kingfish last season from 6-14KG and very comfortable pulling them in. I would maybe wait a little longer to see if any new Penn rods coming to the market. @@lennygid8452 Welcome lenny. You Should also consider the 24kg rated penn prevail II which would also be significant for the fish you mentioned above. I got the 37KG 1202H model because we can catch kingfish upto 20+kg off the rocks and wanted more load. Ive caught a 5kg snapper on it aswell, it was no match for a snapper at 5kg.

@@OCEANOUTKAST i will be buying a 24kg but purely on the price alone , its the daiwa beefstick 12ft 24kg , cheap as and has a few good reviews about it , again you get what you pay for with this one , ... look dont want to take up more of you time so i will stop here , and say thank you for your time and advice .
