They never actually "fell" they are just quiet some years. But even in their quieter years they are still one of the best in the nation.

Pretty sure Gable wasn't the coach when Iowa won a championship two seasons ago, you nut case. Penn State looks really in a class of their own, but Iowa is still number 3 in the nation. The locked hands on Starocci was ridiculous and the stalls given to Truax and Brooks were bull. Meanwhile, dang near every Iowa wrestle just turtled up on the bottom and hardly got a look.

I think the only thing that can hurt the top wrestlers this season is the refs. They cannot see a clear pin and not calling stalls earlier. Hurt Penn St. and Michigan last night. Such a shame.
