I feel like the past 2 years Penn State has had a championship level defense but the offense was bringing the D down cause the offense couldn't stay on the field.

It's not just Ohio State and Michigan. If you look at the coach's record against top 10 teams through his tenure, he has a 15% win rate. And it's not just that PSU almost wins against top 10 teams, they generally get steamrolled by these teams. Look what happened to PSU in last year's bowl game. They got *crushed*.

They’ll make it, with the “trophies for participation” policy of “expansion. Then they’ll have their assses handed to them by one of the 3-4 teams that actually deserve to play in the playoffs.

Yeah the game isn't like it was back in the Joe Paterno days it's alot faster but ohio state gets the recruits and Michigan get the recruits penn state gets 4 and 5 star guys and they either aren't developing them or they are overrated look at the way ohio state brings in and develops thier receivers but thier defense isn't near as good as pennstates idc what anyone says now maybe that these other schools entered into the big ten we can steal some of the California recruits from them and the guys that go to Oregon and ucla and Washington penn state just needs a offensive help we can get it going and with the defense that we have had we will do good in the playoffs
