Such plays HAPPENED, turnovers were forced, special teams delivered. There is NOTHING illegitimate in Notre Dame's Sugar Bowl victory over Georgia. But as usual, no matter who Notre Dame beats, critics always discount the victory by claiming the team the Irish dispatched suddenly was never any good, regardless of pre-game hype or ranking. It’s a playoff game, style points don’t exist, ND coaches game-planned and reacted to play on the field in front of them and the Irish defeated the SEC Champion.
