If SMU is that high on turnovers, rest assured that Penn State will capitalize on those opportunities.

SMU can be their own worst enemy with those turnovers. They can compete with anybody if they don't give up the ball. They also have plenty of room to improve on all of those penalties.

Idk about “anybody” but yeah they are certainly a good team without the turnovers. The fact that they lost to the two best teams they played (BYU and Clemson, who both aren’t that good) is concerning

@ **likes his own comment😭** Brother look at the talent gap, look at your defense compared to ours. Yeah Oregon scored a lot but look at every other game we’ve played☠️ Oregon torched us with their elite passing game, something Boise State doesn’t have… I think Ashton Jeanty deserves heisman but he hasn’t faced a run defense like PSU all season lol

@ btw you saying you wish you played our schedule is hilarious considering our strength of schedule is 30th while Boise State’s is 78th🤡🤡🤡

@ talking about a Big 10 schedule being easy while you play in the Mountain West is so ironic it’s hilarious

@ fun fact btw, PSU would be an -11.5 favorite over Boise State if they played on a neutral field rn (via DraftKings Sportsbook)🤣

I think we are going to see two teams that are built very differently. PSU DL is elite. They were oh so very close in the big 10 championship game and if the refs called the game correctly Oregon's OL would have had 8 plus holding penalties and PSU would have won that game easily. That DL is no joke, and their LBs along with Carter are fast enough to contain SMU's QB. As for SMUs DL being great against the rush, I mean who exactly have they faced with PSU's OL and with two great RBs? PSU run on Oregon for almost 300 yards people. You can't tell me SMUs DL is better than Oregon's against the rush. Wrap all this up with PSUs home field advantage and the weather and it could get very ugly.

I think SMU should have early morning practices to get used to the cold.

PSU wanted to have "Whiteouts" for all their home games but were threatened with a 'cease and desist' order by a Canadian hockey team (I believe) that originally coined the whiteout phrase for their team. An agreement was reached that PSU would only have one (official) whiteout announced per year. They may have also allowed for special circumstances like this.
@stretch1410002 күн бұрын
While there is only one official whiteout, there is nothing in that agreement that prevents the penn state fans from still just wearing white every game haha, they just can't promote it as a "whiteout" more than once.

This is complete bullshit PSU has whiteouts whenever they want. You have no idea what you’re talking about the Winnipeg Jets means nothing in the USA

Nah man. Penn St by 12-24 points over SMU. If SMU wins it will be like it was against Duke or Louisville or one of their other close games. SMU will not win by ten. Penn St might but not SMU. I think Ohio State based on stats would beat Tennessee but not sure about that as Vols defense is exactly what Buckeyes offense struggles against. So I would not be shocked if Tennessee wins. Texas should beat Clemson. Indiana should best Notre Dame but I don’t know how Indiana will handle that crowd and the defensive barrage that Notre Dame has. In the second round Texas beats Arizona State but will be a good game. Boise State gets a dose of reality and Penn State demolishes them. Oregon struggles to beat Ohio State again but if it’s Tennessee, then they will pull off the upset. Georgia handles Notre Dame. Semifinal games will be Texas vs either Oregon or Tennessee, and Georgia vs Penn St. if three of the four finalists are from SEC, it is a safe bet that an SEC team will win the whole thing and justify the changes they and BiG10 and committee wants to make; which just like in year one of CFP-4-team playoff the committee and the two major conferences involved along with the ACC got extremely fortunate and a bit of luck with Ohio State winning it all and Oregon getting to national title game over Florida State who was undefeated and losing to Ohio State.

SMU isn't any good- don't worry about them at all..........

I could see SMU being even or even leading Penn State during the game, but if they turn the ball over, PSU can ride momentum and score 14 point just like that and end the game. I think it’s 31-17 PSU. I could see a 3-minute swing where PSU scores half of their points.
