Pennine Way & Kielder Forest

Welcome to my Channel, I hope you enjoy this video of our mid October Sunday ride out in the Kielder Forest, Trails, Northumberland, England.
A historic English county in the North East of England.
This video was taken whilst riding with my friends from Motorrad Madness on our recent ride out through the trails of the Kielder Forest.
The roads and trails in and around The Keilder Forest are some of the best in the UK.
They offer up everything you need with terrific sealed smooth tarmac roads and awesome unsealed routes namely the 12 mile long "Keilder Forest drive" and also the challenging "Pennine Way" which stretches from the Scottish Borders to almost Leeds covering 268 miles.
The sealed "Single Track Roads" here are fantastic too allowing you an adventurous and discovering ride with amazing vistas 360' around you as you explore.
The Keilder Reservoir is the largest man made lake in Europe.

Hi. Another good vid. I know that the Keilder forest drive is open to all vehicles but always understood the Pennine way section was only mtb's and walkers. Have things changed 'cos there were signs on that section stating no unauthorised vehicles? Also the junction at 3.25.......if you had continued straight on approx 400yds there is a turning on the right (signposted Sundayside) which is well worth a try (a little rougher than the tarmacced sections).

Hi David thanks for watching the Channel and leaving your comment. I will certainly endeavour to ride your suggested route Sunnyside next time I'm down that way. Sorry for delay in my response. Since you are probably more familiar with this area than me, you will be well aware of the Otterburn Firing Ranges, I was fortunate a few years ago with some pals to ride round, fascinating place to explore with all the abandoned army vehicles. We had an ex military guide too very fortunate indeed who was friends with one of our group. We rode mostly everything in there from the tarmac airfield which was a lot of fun, great tarmac single track roads too along with all the green lanes we did on the unsealed routes. What a great day out we all had even in the snow. The video containing a montage of pictures we took is on my Channel under Otterburn Ranges, I hope you get a chance to view it.
