I like the hot water bottle I use my water bottles they're not so comfy to hug good idea for winter you can use it to carry water and keep you warm very nice 👍

A lot of wild campers frown or Mick, but then buy electronic hand warmers that you have to charge up. A hot water bottle can be 'charged' repeatedly by boiling the kettle plus it keeps your water warm for the morning cuppa. Win win. 👍

Great stuff, done gregs hut a few times and walked cow green to high cup nick and back,got caught in a whiteout.but never wild camped that area,one for the future maybe

It might be still under Raby estate actually, not sure nor care, but you wont be disturbed there as long as you arrive late leave early. It is prone to getting soggy, but there;s plenty of suitable areas to pitch and its sooo peaceful

I've thought about wildcamping that spot for a few years but always looked a bit tufty , looks stunning with a covering of white stuff.
