@dwkcamman611 Thank you! For my first time up there, I was pleased with my footage! I can not wait to go back again in the summer.

Super camera work! Great shots! The grey day and the sparse foliage highlighted the rail footage. Combine that with the audio, which was great in stereo, and it was a very enjoyable 14+ minutes. Thank you! But it must have been cold! I kept wanting to put on thermal underwear!

Those double deckers are such ghastly looking monstrosities! Oh well they're needed. It always tripped me out how the motorman can operate a nonpowered unit in a push configuration. I still haven't gotten used to that. it still looks odd to me. I would love to drive an ALP-46. I think it would be the experience of a lifetime

The mystery of American commuter rail. The non standardized platforms, Some high, some low, different length. Semi electrified lines having to use both diesel and electric trains. Can anyone explain?
@AaronTheEagle16 жыл бұрын
Trains were probably going to Hoboken or Newark.

It's an old PA RR line. Basically built for summer traffic. People didn't start to live year round in many of these communities until the 60's. Money is a big part & politics. It's taken forever & still not finished but it's something.
