With dopplegangers (and with double trouble even better) and switching between goblin and trader you can triple that "gem record" a lot faster and easier

Yes that is right, even though I think the 8k are not possible nowadays, less rerolls as in the past when you could use reroll tokens +more real players with the chance of interrupting you.
