I found a ton of the cookie cutters, but not too many other brown dots. Found lots of the beef jerky and Pringles which was a nice surprise. Congratulations on your haul!

Went back and it was actually two, it was behind the old white and blue striped monogram mugs. It’s the cream colored and green colored speckled mugs. They are stacked, one on top of the other.

Usually every week new items go to a penny at Dollar General. I put out a video every week that tells you what penny and clearance items you can look for. There are a lot of new brown dot items being put out right now that are full price. The best thing you can do is use the Dollar General app to scan things so you know for sure it's a penny.

@@DollarStoreDetective unfortunately I went to 3 dollar generals in Texas and none of the purple items are ringing .10 all 3 ran .30. But on my app it was .10 and at the register it was .30 what could I do in this situation?

The brown dot items usually come out in November. Last years brown dot items just went to a penny last week.

You are supposed to take all the penny items because if you don't the employees will realize it's a penny when you check out and then they will do their job and remove the other items from the shelf. They will either ship the items back or throw them in the trash. I'd rather take all the items I find at a penny and know I can donate them than leave them and risk them getting trashed.
