I watched all friends and some videos of this show, the similarities 1. This scene reminds me of ross's couch and pivot 2. They're friends living in next door of each other 3. Penny is an actress who worked as a waitress and a little stupid just like Joey 4. Penny dated the geek guy, ross and rachel 5. There is that Indian girl who leonard dated and she doesn't want him to hang out with penny just like emily "a control freak" Like Monica described 6. Sheldon is cleaning others homes just like Monica I only watched like 10 videos and this is so far what I noticed

You can go back to ancient greek literature or roman and read the same stories as nowadays. Most of disney products were already existing fairytales for example. Writers watch other people products and get inspiration. Or the same script writers can work on different projects. And of course just copy the exact same story as you wrote but it's not started with this show

Almost like a continuation of the gag on Cheers. Cheers was a pretty influential to most modern day sitcoms. I believe the cast of Friends end up talking about how Cheers was so influential to their show when doing a tribute to it.

Stairs are not built to 30 degrees. They are built to 45 degrees. Therefore the force needed to lift the pkg is divided by 1.41, or a 29% reduction. However the coefficient of friction of the cardboard box on the carpet is about .4 so the added drag would likely increase the force needed to slide by about 10% compared to just lifting the box. However by pushing the box they are able to use more muscle groups (Quadriceps, Calf muscles, Gluteus maximus, et al, Erector spinae, External obliques, deltoids compared to just the leg muscles. (Quadriceps, Calf muscles, Gluteus maximus, et al.) so it did have a small advantage. But lifting straps would have been better.
