My memory of this song is when I was 9 years old in 1967. I was climbing an apple tree in my back yard to get to my tree house when the refrain “blue suburban skies” came wafting out of a car driving slowly past my house. It was a sparkly summer day. I always remember those sunny blue skies whenever I hear Penny Lane.

There are several things that should be recognized about this young talent. Emily has not just a great voice but her delivery is so clear in particular her consonants are crystal clear. Love it. also her beauty needs to be noted. I love the fact that Emily dresses as a treasure and not a target. In my opinion this keeps all viewers focused on Her talent.
