Aw I'm sorry! I should have posted in the community that there was no live last weekend (I was feeling unwell). So sorry to have made you wait. From now on, I will always announce on IG stories (and also YT community) if I know I'm doing a live beforehand, and will also post if I can't make the Sunday live! i love how thoughtful you are when making these. thank you! the first time i’ve heard of “happy mail” was from a stationery shop on instagram labeling their packages as happy mail. And i’ve called them like that ever since 😆

Those are amazing bundles of joy! i'm sure you made your penpals really happy :D i used to do postcrossing years ago and having some "happy mail" (its a perfect name) in the middle of bills does bright up your day. I might do it again some time.

Hey! Fellow former-Postcrosser hehe. I was forced to take a break when the pandemic hit and we had airmail restrictions, and then I just never picked it back up. But you're right, it is so nice to receive a piece of personal mail in the midst of bills and ads!

Where did you get your postage scale? I went to look at Office Depot near me and they cost over $100. Crazy!

It's actually a mini food scale from Daiso, and was only 5000 won, which is about 3 bucks? It works great since the Post Office also checks weight in grams here. Maybe check Dollar stores or online for similar, very basic food/kitchen scales - that might be cheaper?
