Hi Dave just want to get you opinion. I have my old mbox 3 pro and I'm looking for a better interface. The ones I'm looking at is the Apollo 8 new black face one, Lynx Aroura the new blue face, motu 828es, and the Antelope Orion studio rev 2017. Now here is the deal I'm really not worried about the plugins that come with the Apollo or antelope Orion studio rev 2017. I want to know which interface has the best sound going in recording and best sound coming out when mixing. They all have the right ins/outs for my outboard gear and digital mixer. Just want to get your opinion on this. Thanks bro! Basically which one has the better converters inside.

A lot of mixing problems could be solved by sending final reels to the composer before they write the song.

Stop talking about women not being composers. Women around the world have shown statistically that they value jobs with interpersonal relationships over jobs in solitude. That's why there aren't as many women engineers, that's why most women who work for tech companies don't code, and that's why MOST women don't care to sit in a studio, in solitude, for hours on end composing or mixing music. Nobody is stopping women from doing what they want to do. For the love of God please stop that rhetoric that's not based in any factual data.

Lol always gotta make it about gender. I think this industry could use more of a female presence and the way to do that is to encourage and celebrate the women in our industry currently. But you shouldn't feel guilty about not being able to name a hundred names of female composers.

"...Lol always gotta make it about gender..." I would call it male virtue signalling (white knighting), but that is a bit unfair on the guys, because the reality is all men are currently under heavy attack from the feminists for the alleged crime of oppressing women throughout history (mining coal, building ships, building the infrastructure and sacrificing all social life, hobbies and mental health in order to produce epic movies and movie scores is oppressing women apparently....). So most men feel the need to redeem themselves against the constant and relentless labelling of men as misogynist, oppressor, sexist etc....... because as we all know most men actually adore women and will always be biased in favour of women, and at the expense of other men. This is how feminists (who are NOT representative of all women of course) exploit men's natural hard wired chivalry to weasel their way into certain careers which they want to get into without having to put the work in. Feminists feed the male ego (men are all powerful) and then exploit men's chivalry (you have to give women special treatment to prove you are not a sexist pig). A truly progressive man who truly views women as his equals (rather than as adult sized children) will NOT patronise women or try to 'lift them up' into competitive fields like sound engineering/ production / STEM / politics....... instead they will let women prove their own worth and make their own sacrifices... JUST LIKE MEN HAVE TO TO MAKE IT IN THOSE CAREERS. The patronising tone collectively coming from everyone sat around that table was vomit inducing. Let's applaud the wimmins for getting into a music career. Why??? Why not applaud the men too??? .... LOL Hurray for men putting in those long hours!!!! Only by applauding men do we see just how patronising it is. ".... I think this industry could use more of a female presence ..." Even this statement, which is perfectly well meaning (not having a dig at you), can be considered problematic (in the current political climate) because it is lumping all women together and defining them as a force for good. But why should that be so? Surely men and women both have their fair share of wasters, bad eggs, incompetents, flakes, people with a bad attitude etc? And if we try to fast track women into an industry in order to appease feminists the result will be... (1) lots of unsuitable women will exploit the system to get into a competitive field without having to prove themselves and put in the work to climb the ladder (2) women who DO have the skills will suffer the stigma of a culture which treats them like children, where nobody knows if a woman producer/ engineer/ composer got there through merit or through political correctness. (3) women will no longer have the opportunity to FAIL at an early stage and possibly reconsider this as a career. This means they could end up being 'lifted up' into a career which is not right for them, and never was, and they will not realise until another five years down the line. Men at least have the 'privilege' of starting at the bottom which means by the time they get to touch a console (after years of making tea and ordering pizza) they already know whether this is going to be the career for them or not, because so far their role has been that of a slave and they still have the passion. The whole thing is a mine field! We've seen women getting fast tracked into management positions in the ordinary workforce and this has caused an epidemic of unsuitable female managers having nervous breakdowns about being called 'bossy' or just being thoroughly miserable due to the long hours, no social life, massively competitive environment and the need to be a 'ruthless bastard' all day long. The danger is to roll out the red carpet to women, and lure them into these brutal, highly competitive industries under false pretences. That is actually extremely cruel. ".. the way to do that is to encourage and celebrate the women in our industry currently. But you shouldn't feel guilty about not being able to name a hundred names of female composers..." Exactly. There are BIOLOGICAL reasons why males dominate the top positions for scientists or composers of entrepreneurs (the Mozarts, Williiams, Musks, Jobs of the world). Men's talents (IQ etc) are spread out more than women's. It is a broader bell curve. There are statsitically more male geniuses that women, but also more male imbeciles too. Women tend to occupy the middle ground more. This is hard science. The top 1% in any field will tend to be men. Testosterone also makes men less risk averse and less prone to neuroticism.... which is helpful when entering highly competitive and risky careers like music. This is the science which got James Damore fired from google. Political Correctness is now creating a society where science and reality are having to defer to feelings and idealogical possession. Scary stuff. We've seen in history where this all leads.....
