A good majority of the people of Iran may have hated Soleimani because he represented the militant, mindless oppression that has made life miserable to many of the more open-minded people in the country - people like the President of Iran, Hassan Rouhani, a moderate who has often found himself clashing with Soleimani. But you'd be very hard pressed to find any Iranians who would not rally behind the defense of their proud, millennia-old cultural heritage. Everything Trump has ever touched has turned to shit. Now, this includes the notion of making Iran less belligerent. If there was ever a real strategy behind the "maximum pressure" campaign in hopes that the people would support regime change in Iran, Trump undid that with a single tweet. If anything, now Iran ranks lower than Trump's America as a nation that urgently requires a regime change for the sake of everyone in this world.

As i was saying yesterday. I want that carried those out in prison. I don't pay taxes to start wars and feel uneasy at tthe MOA or ANY public attraction. I want to enjoy my money and my life. If he wants this in his life let him do it on his own. Don't involve our country or our dollars playing psychopath games. He likes playing whose more psychotic I DON'T

Mister Guy - you’re right, it’s just that Trump chooses not to hear “no”.

It must be absolutely maddening to generals in the service having to work with the reality that Trump is their commander.

The issue as I see it, members of the Armed Forces are only required to follow lawful orders. However, it is difficult to ascertain if an order is lawful if the distinction is one that the person that must follow it doesn't have the capability to evaluate. How would I know, on the fly, if a target that is typically a "cultural site" doesn't now qualify as a military target? How would I even know which sites are and which sites aren't classified as cultural sites. Ultimately I believe the order would be followed in the immediate and then afterwards would be evaluated as to whether or not it constituted a war crime. That's just my interpretation though.

It’s about time someone says NO. But the NO should have came before the sneak attack that has put us all in peril.

There should be a law that gives the military full authority to arrest or forcefully remove the president for even SUGGESTING to commit a war crime.
