*THEORY* for the ones who don't understand, the boys are the same person but in different love stages. •Huidawn..they like the girl once they look at her •Jinho..falling in love from the first sight "the violet curtain hanging from the bus represents the love growing inside of jinho towards the girl" •yanan..both of them falling in love with each other. that's why both wear the color violet, it's like love is controling their hearts or smth. •wooseok..the stage where the couple start dating and cutely buying gifts for eachother •kino..the stage of arguing with eachother that's why him and the girl don't talk anymore where you can see him sitting depressed afar from her •hongseok..the break-up *i will say no more😭* •yuto..one of the most important stages, which he starts dreaming of his love and thinking about her all the time. So we get to the conclusion that yeo one riding the paralell bus kept looking at kino or we can say the bus that carries all they boys because he was remembering every stage he passed through. *theory!* so pentagon are all the different love interests the girl has met on this bus and they represent different stages in relationships. dawnie, hui & jinho are in the initial falling in love or "love at first sight" stage, wooseok & yanan represent mid relationship in the cute couple gifts/outfits stage, hongseok is the breakup stage where you end all affection/attachment (credit xeezy 1996), hyunggu & changgu are in the post breakup where you realise what you had is gone and you start to feel pain, yuto is acceptance? that he has to move on - hence why he's able to sleep in the bus and leave the bus (credit Icha), and shinwon is like everyone's conscience? hence turning the light off over yuto as if signalling something like the end of the relationship and standing instead of sitting as if watching over everyone. this was v brief its 2am & im tired lmao sorry if there are any typos! anyone have anything to add?

*MY THEORIES* : the mv not fully follows the meaning of the lyrics, in the lyrics ,they are talking about just a part of the story in the MV. The lyrics only related to hongseok n yuto's stories. While the others, they are actually show *many love situations* that can happen in this world. 1) *jinho* , having secret crush on that girl, but never confessed 2) *hui edawn* , they love the same girl but theyre still bestfriends 3) *yanan* , meeting the same interest girl. (Coincidence love) (same color) 4) also *yanan + wooseok* , yanan's gf ended up being with another man(wooseok), as she gave the same shirt to wooseok. 5) *kino+yeoone* - gay love , that will never have a happy ending 6) *hongseok* - love story in the lyrics. They know they need to break up, but they are still wishin to stay (thats why they cried) 7) *yuto* - same story as hongseok, yuto wished that girl to be full of flower(happiness) in his dream but.. Alright, short theory: it's like the bus of saddnes, that's where people go when their heart is broken. The girl doesn't have any problems and try to save them, comfort them, take away their pain. UNIVERSE ATTENTION !!!!!!! i posted my theory on the 1thek channel but i'll post it here too! i think i finally understand the mv! ok so first you have to read the translation of the song and maybe you can search up the meaning of the colour Violet. it has a lot to do about emotions and meditation ( very deep ) . as you see, the first half of the video is when they all were super calm and there were several members that has happy moments with that girl but suddenly after kino and yeo one saw each other, the plot was twisted. based on the lyrics, the song is about break up and wanting to hold the girl again like they used to. the first half of the mv might be the past,who were happy and still together with the girl but the second part is the negative effect of them remembering the memories they had with that girl. basically all members were facing a hard time after the break up. the song questions the girl a lot like " do u feel hurt " " can we be together again " and it also says things like " i remember the colour u had " " your words were like flowers " that's why there were flowers in the mv, then you must be thinking, "why did they describe her as violet out of all colours" violet has a deep meaning but i did very little research but it makes enough sense to suit the mv. violet is a colour to express self thought. which is why u see the members were staring out the windows a lot. they were thinking deeply and were very aware of space and time. violet is used to express communication, which is why you see the girl crying and laughing along with the members, violet is a deep colour with emotion, that is why the song is called Violet. this whole mv is about the girl representing the members' past (their ex) , the whole bus ride is abt them remembering the old times when they saw that girl. that girl is their imagination. that girl represents their memory and emotion. Yeo One. I will start by addressing your musicality. Your voice is a wonder and phenomenon unlike any I’ve ever heard. I know you are very creative and specific about your lyrics, and I wanted to comment on how poetic you are when it comes to creating them. Your voice is enchanting and elegant as hearing the music in a fairy tale. It is so wistful and it easy to get lost in the grace of it. It has such a magical and warming effect on every Pentagon song that I hear and gives them all so much life. You are so passionate about signing and a piece of your heart is incorporated into each line that you sing. All the while, your dancing is classy and charming. It is so evident how much effort you put into mastering your choreographies but when you’re on stage, it just looks like second nature to you. You place so much emphasis on each of your movements to make sure that your Universe can take in each one. You are very articulate and expressive as well. Your facial expressions completely guide your dancing as well and you are incredibly skilled with infusing your emotion into your body movements. it hurts so much that their music has been this deep, this emotional and the music videos have had this much significance and they've still been slept on. if their music was always like naughty boy or humph, I get that people might not like it bc it's just a bunch of grown men singing random lyrics with childish choreo (still bops tho) but they've had so many gorgeous eras, so many beautiful concepts and such emotional, relatable, and pretty songs like this that have been completely overlooked. cube may not be a big company, but they are definitely bigger than companies like starship, kq, jellyfish, etc etc and have had legendary groups/idols in their agency so I don't get why pentagon was never given attention? ateez are rookie from kq, an agency with no other idols, and even though they are damn talented idols, how did they get attention on such a large scale from barely existing to the public eye when pentagon is very much in the public eye and not given attention? it's understandable internationally since cube doesn't give many countries str34ming rights and such (I still can't watch some of their shows, music videos, etc bc of that) but they have a majority of the fanbase in Europe, Korea, or the philippines, and in Korea, people CAN watch pentagon maker and they could've went to their debut showcase like- pentagon maker had the potential to be like ygtb and produce but no, cube didn't advertise internationally so even Korean fans didn't follow? I wrote a whole paragraph and I'm sorry but I'm so damn frustrated that they never got attention and even now barely get a million followers on ig and just over 1.2 million listeners on Spotify when there's just barely over 800k people on this yt channel and less than 600k that actually dedicate themselves to pentagon. anyway, unis keep fighting, this is the last day for pentagon's promotions of sum(me:r)

I watched an interview of you before the announcement of your “Daisy” comeback, and it happened to be one of the most raw and honest content I’d ever seen. I wasn’t expecting to see you so blunt and even worried about your future because I’d always known Pentagon as such an upbeat and peppy group. It turns out, I didn’t know the reality of the situation that you were all were living on and I didn’t know of the struggles that you’ve faced. The way in which you were answering the questions had me completely re-thinking what I thought about you before. You were so honest and real about the worries and concerns that you had about your position as an idol in Pentagon that I had no idea about prior to this year. I instantly felt this maturity and desperation for success that represented your character just from this one interview alone. Just from this, I respected you so much more. I had this new love and appreciation for you and all that you work for, not only as an idol but as Yuto. When I watched you afterwards, I read all of your performances differently and could really understand what performing actually means to you. You have, without a doubt, one of the most versatile voices I’ve known just from this element of your voice alone. Regardless of if the song is slower and more emotional, or fast-paced and exciting, there is always this rawness and power behind each of your lines and it creates this signature sound that everyone has become familiar with. Not only can you rap, but you can do so while infusing some vocal components with is as well. Your voice is clear, controlled, and always has so much passion behind it. I anticipate hearing how you will make each song your own and establish such a diverse musical atmosphere for Pentagon.
