For those who don't know why they're crying, Pentagon originally went through a survival show as 10 members, and halfway through Shinwon got eliminated (taller guy crying). Then by the end of the show, two other members were pretty much eliminated (Yan An and E'Dawn), but the higher-ups decided that all 10 could debut if they got 2000 people to their showcase concert (supposed to happen in July'ish). So only 7 members were guaranteed to debut. However, Cube went through some internal business issues and their debut got delayed by about 2-3 months. So Cube instead decided to debut all 10 members because it was their fault that the show was kind of a mess. Plus if you watch the show they're all pretty much homies. When Shinwon got eliminated they were a crying mess. They're all likely just happy to be debuting as Tentagon. Plus Jinho and Hongseok said throughout the show that this was their last chance at debuting in music.

I remember when Shinwon was eliminated, the entire fandom (international & Korean) stood together and cursed Cube. At the showcase, Hui said that they weren't Pentagon is they weren't 10 and needed the other 3. Tbh I know Cube was going to debut all of them anyways, they put way too much money into every member.

Jinho, man.... 8 years. It took him 8 years to finally achieve his dream. Most people would've gave up, which he did momentarily. He went from training to be a singer to training others vocally. But then he got another chance. Thank you cube for bringing him in. Thank you pentagon for letting him sing. I'm so proud of him.

I notice that the members hold hands a lot, it shows how close bond they have. Ten of them have the same dreams, struggle with the same path. Shoutout to Cube and Papa Hong for giving all of them a chance to debut. I know their debut is a few months late. And event though they went through Pentagon Maker and "eliminate" some members, I always knew Cube had been planning to debut all of them. The show was just a marketing strategy. :) They all come from different backgrounds and it reminds me so much of how Cube debuted Beast who almost never had a chance of debuting. I'm looking forward to Pentagon's success and their musics and composition. Loving the debut album so much. One of the best debut album I've heard.
