Pentagon are so good at performing. They genuinely look like they’re having so much fun performing which is refreshing since most other groups focus on their choreography and looking good on stage. Don’t get me wrong, of course they’re impressive, but it’s just nice seeing a group so comfortable being dorks on the stage. It’s only noteworthy that while they’re wild and “messy” they manage to get right back into the choreography almost seamlessly.

I just found out about Pentagon last week and it honestly saddens me that they're not getting the attention they deserve. All members are good at both singing and dancing, and the songs they produce themselves are catchy, too. This one in particular sounds like a good opening to a romcom anime HAHAHA. What I love the most is that they're so refreshing to watch, like they're always genuinely having fun. Enough to put an actual smile on my face. Everyone seems kind and their relationship looks sweet, too. I hope they keep doing this for a long time, and that they don't change too much. I wish more people would support this group. I'm going to start telling my friends about them even though I'm sort of a closeted kpop fan. PENTAGON, hwaiting!

I've been thinking a lot about WHY I love pentagon so much. I'm trying to remember back to when I first noticed them and what exactly were the things that attracted me. Why don't I feel the same way about ANY other kpop group, despite being a kpop listener for over a decade? It's quite simple. Their music is superior. It is deep yet fun, and feels so so human. Their songs make me absurdly happy, or console me when I need it. Then I began to fall for the members, OOF. No turning back. These boys own their art. I feel you on the human aspect. I got into them during Positive era, not because of Shine but for Let's go together... the song really consoled me... it felt real and somehow that song was also telling me that they also have their tough times, but they're not alone. Not to mention Hui wanting them to debut as 10 in Pentagon Maker really got to me and I said... I'm stanning. And when someone got eliminated, the others were crying harder than the one leaving. ugh, my heart got ripped to pieces, even though knew they'd debut in the end. In most survival shows you don't see that kind of bond. It's natural that you're fighting for yourself. But these guys have something special. You can tell.
