I love this one, or in fact any songs where PTX raps. I love their cover of Problem too - the Ariana song (which has Iggy Azalea rapping on the original!) I saw them live in London for the first time on 4 May after 12 years as a fan and they were AWESOME!

Happy to see you taking a break from the heavy for a minute. As much as I adore your reactions to all things deep and meaningful, it can't be good for you to react to only songs of great heft without periodically just having a little fun. I knew it was going to kill you the minute Avi dropped in with that heavy bass. As a punishment (also known as a reward for giving up), I think you should react to their original "Sing" so that we can see you give up again. We don't want to see you torture yourself for too long, you know. I didn't see it on the playlist (though you might have done it in a live at some point). Thanks for another great reaction. I had a feeling you wouldn't be able to do it! LOL I was born in the 50s and this is absolutely one of my favorite songs they do. Love the fun stuff! Edit: You are correct about some reactors. My favorites are those who do add to the reaction. Just sitting there and saying "Oh, that's good" is not my thing. They dressed in each scene to a part of their individual personalities, especially in the past, before PTX. You can see it, right. Kevin is very religious/spiritual and grew up in the church; Scott is kinda a skater boy, Mitch, nerdy and Kirstie has/had a goth vibe going. Avi...well laid back. See, you see it now!!

This is why a ptx cover is called an upgrade. I saw them in September. Pts never does a song live that they cannot reproduce live then what the studio version sounds like on the official music video. There is a behind-the-scenes video for this song. On some songs they will do a behind-the-scenes video. If you want to hear more rap then listen to Superfruit which is the channel That Scott and Mitch had as a side project early on in ptxs career. It's not acapella because there is usually at least a piano playing if you really want to be taken for a loop listen to superfruits rendition of Nicki Minaj

Gosh, I think you can both be a part of the music (jive to rhythm) and keep an open and critical ear as well, I’d rather you be your whole self. I’ve given it a lot of thought and I listen to reactions for two reasons: 1.) I want the emotional high I get watching a reactor respond to Pentatonix because it’s usually both positive and enthusiastic. I get a personal, emotional boost when I see that happen.., and 2.) if the reactor happens to have some musical training or experience of some type in the industry I like to hear them comment on parts of the song that are more subtle and require somewhat of a trained ear to hear. Then I, too, can listen for it as well. So, my vote is for you to be who you are because it appears that is what I happen to be looking for, anyway. Thanks!

It's now a couple of years old, but Scott Hoying did a side project where he helped assemble a group of kids called Acapop Kids who did some phenomenal covers of contemporary pop music. www.youtube.com/@AcapopKIDS/videos They got sidelined by the Pandemic, and their terrific 15 year old beatbox Nolan Gibbons suddenly died in his sleep.
