Yes, it's all coming from their voices. Occasionally the beat boxer, Kevin Olusola, (also sang the first part of the 3rd verse) will also play his cello, but otherwise it's pretty much all a cappella.

Love it! Sometimes....many times with this group you just have to pause and take some breaths...they really know how to stir up emotions with every single song. First of all the amazing sounds filling our heads, then the perfect visuals and surroundings always further the experience by tying it all together and on top of all that they each show so much emotion while singing to give you the fullest experience while listening . They have such talent and creativity that you just can't help to be totally moved in some way. And they do this with EVERY SINGLE SONG/VIDEO . They are expert master level in the game of entertainment. No other group/band has ever pulled this off in every single song... love them and loved your reaction!

You kept saying you were sorry, but you should never apologize for having such a beautiful heart. Nobody can avoid getting emotional watching such an amazing group, singing such a beautiful song! I know I am talking to your past right now, but I just now found your channel, and because you felt it so deeply, anyone watching you, or watching them, would have the same reaction, unless they had a dead heart. I get emotional watching it, still, and I have watched it a lot!! I am pretty sure you have seen a lot of their videos by now, but in case you haven't seen it, they have a recent video, called "The Wizard of Ahhs". It is them, in costume, doing a shortened video of "The Wizard of Oz". They tell the whole story, using up-to-date music to tell it. It is very cool. I loved your reaction and have definitely subscribed:)

PTX has that effect on almost everyone with these types of songs. "Amazing Grace" (with their new bass, Matt), their cover of John Lennon's "Imagine", their cover of A Great Big World's (ft. Christina Aguilera) "Say Something" , their original "Run to You" are some that have that effect on me. If you are fond of "Mary, Did You Know?", you might check out Voctave's cover of the song featuring Mark Lowry (he wrote the words to it). The way he sings HIS song (with Voctave acting as an a cappella choir) is really special.

Well it looks like there is one more Pentahoic! May I say one thing...PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't say Merry XMas. To me that is offensive, like you can't give God and Baby Jesus a full Merry CHRISTMAS. Of course, that's only my opinion! Anyway, these guys just kill everything they do and yes, all of its done with their voices except the beatboxing when he pats his chest or stomps his feet!!! Welcome to the world of Pentatonix! And Merry Christmas to you! I'm viewing this on the fourth of October, 2021.

Beautiful reaction from a beautiful woman. I reacted much like you the first time. This song is about the Christ Jesus of Nazareth. Yeshua in Hebrew. Lovely lady, we must accept him as our Lord and savior or turn our backs on him. He is my God and king forever. Our world is near the last 7 years and war is coming. Christ will come to receive his followers and then punish the world for turning their backs on him and wickedness. China, Russia, USA, Iran, Israel, and many other countries are preparing for War now! The end of the age is near. Only those who are saved by Christ will make it for sure. I wanted to warn you to be ready. If you need someone to talk to about this please feel free to text me any time. God / Christ is everything to me. This music group was formed in Arlington, Texas. I live near that area. Most in the USA have turned their back on God, but some of us Christians remain. May God bless you always dear lady.
