I've seen them use pitch pipes, but that was earlier in their career. You also sometimes see them use what I'm assuming is a piano app (you hear a piano note coming from someone's phone) to get their starting note.

I think they use an app for the pitch pipe, also Kevin has perfect pitch (of course he is astounding in his talents as always).

In older videos rhey sometimes use an app. I have been wondering if they now get the starting notes from their ear pieces, which would pretty much block out sound pipes sounds anyway.

I agree. I like the Cold Play one as well. I love how attentive you are to the smallest change in their music, like Mitch's slight crescendo. Very cool! Or as you Brits say.....Brilliant!

This is such a great arrangement and they killed the live performance of it. My favorite was Wrecking Ball. I love hearing Mitch go up and down notes like in the beginning part of it. He astounds me how easy he makes it sound when he does that. But they were all so good in all of it. It's also so much fun watching your reactions to them QoFy. You feel it all so much plus can do all the analyzing too, pointing out nuances that we might have missed. By the way, those little crescendos are another touch that I've noticed that Mitch loves to use.

Wetten dass ?? freely translated is Bet that ?? . It was a very popular Tv Show here in Germany . And the Topic about the Show was about Crazy Bets from People all around the World. Love your Pronouncing of the Words .

2013 was the year home free won the sing off. Ptx won in 2011. Yes home free were the next winners on the show but the show skipped 2012 and then decided to come back in 2013 for season 4. Favorite part was mitch singing Coldplay. We need a whole cover of Viva LA Vida. FYI there's now a studio version of this medley on Spotify.

Actually, Scott and Kevin both have perfect pitch. I would say Mitch and Kirsty have relative pitch, which use the next best thing to perfect pitch.
