much of pentatonix's music has a really positive vibe and leaves one feeling strong emotions. they got me through the pandemic because of that..a good stress relief.

Pentatonix must have made an impression on somebody in the national TV media. This song (shorter and heavily modified lyrics) was used as the NFL Thursday Night Football opening song in 2016. And then in early 2017, NFL Sunday Pre-game show on FOX used a version of their Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy for it's theme (yeah, no idea where that came from!).

Yay! I'm so happy you liked it! I first heard "Sing" after I joined a Rock 'n Roll choir, called the Gotham Rock Choir. I saw there were a couple of solos available, and I learned the rap because I thought there'd be fewer auditions for it, and I was right! 🤣 This was the 1st song I heard by Pentatonix, and it remains my favorite. Thank you also for sharing part of your life with us here. There is always a message to be found in the music, and I am grateful I grew up around all different kinds, and the music has walked with me through life. Motown, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Led Zepplin and radio music got me through my earlier years, Carole King and James Taylor got me through high school, disco, Punk, Alternative, and heavy metal got me through my young adulthood, then classic hard rock brought me the rest of the way. My friends now turn me on to music they know I'll like, and what will get me through current days.

Pentatonix's label / VEVO are aggressive about blocking their official videos. It's based on the video image, so most reactors can alter the video to get around it -- reducing the display size, increasing the transparency, and/ or overlaying text or a graphic. Or, you can appeal the block and some reactors get the block released in a few days. Or, there are plenty of good live videos which are fan-posted and should not cause a block.

I originally subbed to you for your Queen reactions last year and I enjoy the variety of artists you react to. I was really happy to see you are starting to check out Pentatonix, which is my top favorite for You Tube reactions. They always convey a sense of positivity. Their energy and that from Queen live videos helped me get through the worst of the pandemic. Pentatonix is the only group that I can say don't have a bad song, so as you are getting started you can just pick something that looks interesting to you. it's an orignal.They have a hi\uge catalog and just don't sing ANYTHING BADLY. tHEY ARE JUST AS NICE A GROUP OF PEOPLE AS THEY ARE GREAT MUSICIANS AND SINGERS. hOPE THAT YOU WILL SOON JOIN THE FAN BASE AND BECOE A PENTAHOLIC.
