Cant tell the difference between the 2 black guys, pointing out the mannerisms of the two gay guys as "over the top extra". Might want to check if you have some biases you've not tackled my dude. Pentatonix are former theatre/choir kids who are pop with a leaning towards musical theatre at points. Them being a bit dramatic in their mannerisms and artistic in their stylings is like being mad at a glamrock band for wearing makeup. Humans are different. Some people are big in their mannerisms, some timid. Some like playing with clothes, some want to wear a t-shirt and jeans. It's fine. You dont have to like them, but focusing on clothes or if someone happens to emote in the same way you do, seems to be an odd way to approach the world

Hallelujah was written by an atheist with atheist lyrics. Not exactly a religous song. You probably got fooled by the bible bits in the beginning. It sounds like you didn't listen to the later lyrics. The guy on the right does all the percussion which doesn't allow him to sing as much. Have you listened to Disturbed's version of the Sound of Silence? He's even more dramatic. You must have hated Queen songs.

Wow how many songs have you actually reacted to because there is really little drama in this VIDEO. I capitalised it so that you understand that there is supposed to be feelings and emotions in it. I won't be watching any further reactions by you as you are certainly bias. If you need to spend most of the reaction critiquing how they look and move which is an addition, just close your eyes and listen to the music or find audio videos to react to.

I have no problem with someone not liking PTX, but your reasons don't make sense. I'm going to date myself here, but have you ever watched a Def Leopard, Madonna, Lady Gaga, and just about any other big name singers/groups. They are all what you call over the top, most of them worse than PTX. What do you want them to do, stand there singing terrified to move or show emotion? I'm not putting your opinion down, as your supposed to have your own opinion's. But if you don't like something, either tell the truth about why, or just say you don't like it, don't be a hypocrite and say you don't like them for the very reason you like everyone else. Thank you Jeff. After reading your comment the first time, I decided to sign up for therapy. So far so good. My therapist has me listening to pentatonix songs three times a week. But, only in 15 second lengths. Slow and steady wins the race right? I will let you know how it goes 47 weeks from now, when I am done with therapy. Bless!

The black guy in the white jacket is Matt & he replaced Avi (the bearded guy from Hallelujah). Matt was not in Hallelujah. That black guy was Kevin, the beat boxer, who was in the brown jacket in this video. Kevin did not sing in either song you have heard, however, once in a while he does sing & when he does, he sings like an angel. The tall blonde guy is Scott, the little guy is Mitch & Kirstin is the lovely lady. She & Mitch change their looks dramatically for every video, but it's always them. Matt replacing Avi is the only change in the group since its beginning. Bohemian Rhapsody is fun & you might actually like that one. By the way, you are asking 2 gay men to be less flamboyant when they are just being themselves. Maybe you should just listen & not watch them. I stick to what I grew up with. 80's & 90's. All genres, rock, pop, rap, country, skate music, etc. I just find the theatrics to be a bit much, and takes away from the singing. The singing, while they have good voices, I also think is just blown out of proportion. But again, it's an opinion. While I do not group all "pentaholics" together, the majority have been absolutely wild, and aggressive with their comments. LOL. I am good though. It's just ridiculous that people expect a reactor/reviewer to be 100% positive about EVERY song they watch. Thanks for your comment though!
