C41 was introduced while I was still at school, around 1972 or 73. The first new film was Kodacolor II, replacing Kodacolor X which used the previous C22 process.

Got mine like 4 days ago. I love it. It in really good shape, got it from a guy that I know who collects camera. Bought him a lot of gear in the past years. so far all is great. I shot my first roll with it, but have not developed it yet. It's my second electronic camera. My first was my Minolta XE. It's currently out for repair. Can't wait to get it back.

The “battery grip thing” is an autowinder/motor drive.

The Pentax ME Super is a great camera! It was my 2nd favorite 35mm camera that I ever used, after the awesome Canon T90.

Looking to add a few more 35mm cameras to our arsenal over this year, might have to consider the T90. Currently got the Nikon F80, which is one of our more "modern" 35mm cameras, which is probably more comparable to the T90.

Hello! i bought this camera in a market at 70£, i put new batteries and a new film in it, when i tried to take a picture the viewfinder went black and the shutter button doesn't work. In the viewfinder at the beginning there was a red and a green light. And now those lights are gone! And the shutter button still doesn't work .. I'm not an expert and I wanted to start this experience by buying it but it went wrong 😩 Is there something I can do myself to fix it or do I have to take it for repair? Thnx

If the viewfinder went black, it likely means the mirror is stuck. I've had this happen to me a fair few times. Usually before I load film in mine, I'll fire off the shutter a load of times to loosen the mirror. If it's still black, the mirror is probably stuck in the up position. Best take off the lens and see if it's still in that position.
