As a coptic orthodox who lives abroad this is very nostalgic for me. We used to visit the desert monasteries as youths to spend some spiritual time away from the chaos of the city.

I loved to see the interaction between different Christian traditions. Thank you for making this. I have a theological question about something you said at 16:18 Do you believe these verses are inspired scripture since they are not found in the earliest Biblical manuscripts?

I am an ex Orthodox man just because I was born in an Orthodox country. I went for 25 years searching for the plain truth and I discovered it when I started reading the Bible. I'm gonna tell you people this: Jesus never approved monasteries (like in buddism) and that whole scheme of the self -deprecate ασ Orthodox Church, which is only monks traditions, festivities and full of paganism. Can't you see this? This is not Christianity. Not a spiritual life with Christ. No Holy Spirit inside their churches. Priests doesn't exist in New testament (Hebrew's Epistle and much more) and you can count them as wolves among sheeps having a so bad doctrine that covers His glory and sacrifice and worshiping His mother Virgin Mary. This is another religion called Mariolatry. They are far away from Jesus Gospel and they are living well like kings, because of the ignorant people who don't know what the Gospels are telling them and the New Testament is against them. Get out from there to save yourself. Go to a Church that preaches only Jesus. Nothing else, nothing more than Jesus. Our Savior, the Son of God, Jesus Christ the Lord. He is coming soon! Hallelujah, Amen.

Ok race wars on a Christian video seriously? Who cares what color skin just move on we are one in Christ. If you want to get Biblical Egypt is part of the tribe of Ham which includes Africans. Geographically, Egypt is in Africa. Historically, Egyptians mixed with many other people since the beginning of time. We can read the Bible to know it and history books to know more. Today Egyptians look more like mixed race people than anything else but it doesn't change the geography. Egyptians are light skinned Africans or as some people call it white Africans. It doesn't matter. If we want to look at history, ancient Egyptians were against the Jews. It isn't anything to be proud of to be against God. Things changed and 99% became Christian but Islamic invasions made it very difficult to live as a Christian. The Coptic church is said to have suffered the most martyrdom in all of Christendom till today. Let's focus on that instead of worshipping our favorite bloodlines please 🙏 ❤
