Anakin made two critical erors with that first plan: 1) He announced what he was going to do. Bad, not just because he allowed the crime lords time to prepare for the attack but also because he did it for appearances rather than because it was the right thing to do. 2) He only took 150 Jedi knights with him. That wasn't anywhere near enough. He should have taken at least a division of infantry with him and a decent sized battle fleet. I have asked for this before: What if Anakin, with street smarts, saw through all of palpatine's manipulations and played the Sith Lord for his own ends or just to mess with his head?

First and formost thank you for the good video. Anakin being a Grandmaster is always a weird one to me because he doesnt seem to be a person who wants that role. Still love your take on it though. What if Anakin became a Sith secretly and was able to hide his presence in the force because he didnt want to harm the Jedi, they are his friends and he tries to make peace between the Jedi and current sith like Dooku and Maul. I dont see Sidious ever trying to make peace with the Jedi.

It's great to see Anakin accepting his failures and proving his willingness to improve himself as a Jedi and a leader. What if the Sith have long died out before Darth Plageius was born but the paranoid Jedi Order still believed the Sith to be still lurking in darkness and later, suspected good natured Palpatine (non force sensitive) or Tarkin (also non force sensitive) to be secret Sith Lord because both men expressed their dislike of the Jedi and "retired" both of them (from life) resulting the Republic to declare witchhunt? What if Emperor Palpatine got so bored after ruling the Empire for 5-10 years since Order 66 and abicated his throne to Darth Vader so Palpatine can start fresh by creating his own faction to rebel against Vader's Empire for thrills and challenges? Basically new game plus but with handicaps.

I think any of these three make interesting what if ideas 1- What if Anakin was allowed to swear his oath on the old code ( the jedi code of the old republic, AKA the code that allows attachment and marriage/love/parenthood ) [ I like this as it means he never has to hide his relationship with padme. Should make an interesting what if imo ] 2- What if Anakin asked Yoda for permission to look through the holocron archives and Yoda agreed. This leading Anakin to find out about powers like Force Heal and Force Barrier or even Battle Meditation ( the last of which i honestly think Anakin would have a talent for ) [ i like this idea alot and its my favorite of the 3 i suggest ] 3- What if Barriss was Anakins padawan instead of Ahsoka ( you could switch their ages to make it fit ) [ i find this interesting cause im curious if you think Barriss would still fall to the dark side ]
