falsetto is a normal vocal register just like any other

It's the head voice. It's not strictly falsetto. Also the notion of a specific register not being the "real" voice is ridiculous. Like what is? Your talking voice? People talk in their head voice occasionally. Every bass would have to talk between E2 and E4 and "talk" each note occasionally, if you are only allowed to sing in your talking voice. NOBODY does this.
