The USDA archives are my holy scripture, though this recipe started its life as a half-remembered recipe for rhubarb champagne jello I saw in a magazine ten years ago :D

Glad to see you're back! As ever, I loved the relaxing music. I also really enjoyed the colour scheme : pale and dark pink blooms against your classic green kitchen tiles, a delightful pink champagne... And then the hilarious detail of your recycled jars with branded lids, screaming of adverts and consumerism! I l-o-v-e-d that! Will you show us the rest of this bougie breakfast for champagne socialists ? Spread the jelly on "qu'ils mangent de la brioche" maybe 🤭

Peonies are so beautiful though, would fill my living room with them.
I'd describe it as a lemony flavor that very slightly reminds me of raspberry. But from what I understand the flavor varies depending on the variety :)

@@michaelaschmid I try to make peony jam . Beautiful pink colour, nice smell but sooooo bitter . I can’t even eat it .
