My favorite part about ManlyBadassHero’s channel is that he doesn’t try to oversell his reactions or furiously try to put the pieces of the puzzle together. He just plays the game and reacts like a normal person. Seems much more grounded and relatable to me. Keep up the excellent work!

I think "Resver" expresses the world being mixed up after drinking!! It's like a game with a visual effect...!! Rotten Stigma tries to imitate Silent Hill so openly that it doesn't have its own charm.... It just look like a normal indie game!!.... Low resolution and quality.... As always... _Just your typical Saturday night party_ Rad indie music, dancing, pulsating lights, chainsaws, weird people 'hanging' around. The being may be summoned by the rave - or maybe the rave is part of the being, allowing people to worship it. Very cool. I also loved the intro with the rain effects and the cats. This Gallagher case was equally sad as the previous. We're not supposed to have that much knowledge to become demi-gods. I felt very sorry for the father - the previous game had an equally tragic ending. I like the atmosphere and the Silent Hill/Cry of Fear creatures.

The fall in the first game is so disturbing to me. Like you have to listen to people's scream before falling to their deaths, wait for the blood to rise up and cannot do anything to leave the area. I actually have to mute the video until Manly proceed to the next location.

Your approach to gameplay is a large part of why I gel so well with you style-wise. Thorough, inquisitive, genre-savvy, intelligent, respectful of the source material and, of course, SEEEECRET! The first game sure happened. Watching that while falling asleep is An Experience. I assumed that first time through I'd dozed off and missed the parts where it made sense, but NOPE! I actually liked the opening scenes a lot, before it went weird - the art style, the method of 'dialogue' with the NPCs, and the cinematic opening credits sequence. The second game was very much a Silent Hill 1 demo on easy mode, at least in gameplay terms. The plot had some cool points but none of it really had time to breathe - not the setup, the survival resource management side, or the Horrific Realisation that your daughter was Still In There Somewhere and might have been salvageable. A bit too much reliance on notes to tell the story without enough writing chops to make them impactful. Which is an issue in many, many horror games, so I'm not singling this one out in particular.

What I don't like about the second game is it pins you into a corner of doing something horrible. I assumed from pretty much the first appearance of a flesh monster that they were really the missing children, and I think it's cheap that they wouldn't let the player progress until they shot the daughter and /then/ they guilted them for it like "ohhhh it was still your daughter the whole time!! Don't you feel baaaad!"

First game reminds me of this accident I heard about where a building was made cheaply or something, I don’t remember much of the details but there was a wedding on one of the higher floors and during the party bit, the floor gave way and a bunch of people died.. imagine friends and family dying on your wedding day, yikes. At least it caused building code changes where it happened

You know what game should be made? like the title of the video a survive the horror 3rd person semi shooter and stealth game where you where invited to a party, but all the guest and everyone else beside you and a few other are turning into monsters, (Like a John Carpenter the Thing and Junji style monsters) and you and the other guest try to figure out why this is happening and try to escape.
