And yes, I have his favorite sword--the one he carried and that has a live edge--hanging on the wall in the living room where I can grab it if I run out of ammo. We had a friend years ago who bought a house that, unbeknownst to him at the time of purchase, had been a drug dealer's house. People used to pull around back and buy from the the back door (so they wouldn't be seen from the road). About a month after moving in, he was awakened in the middle of the night by the sound of a car behind the house. Then there was a knock on the door. He grabbed a sword off the wall and jerked open the back door and thrust through the screen door, missing the guy's stomach by a few inches. He said the guy's eyes got as wide as saucers and he high-tailed it back to his car. No one ever stopped by the house again. Sometimes it's less about stopping power and more about sending a message, you know.
